I still regret selling my first one 10 years ago, I had to break the second due to the bodged accident damage I found My current seems to spend more time in bits than on the road and needs a full re-spray at some point but I know if I were to sell I'd miss a Corrado in my life again The only car I regret selling more than my first G60 was my 3dr cossie Rather than a clio (which did not impress me at all when I drove a cup 172) have you thought of Polo GTI, same sort of size but probably a lot more reliable and has better tuning prospects.

For the likes of sat nav and phone you could wire in a multi USB port, some come with extra power supply which could be 12v (from memory) That would cut the amount of space needed and give you the options you want

I love a clean black rado
-
The coupes always seem to be the poor relation, just look at the rocco against the mk1 golf the rado against the mk2 & 3 Golf (although mk3s seem to be broken up in larger quantities) and now the rocco again against the mk5, 6 and 7 golfs I'd love a new rocco but I have a mk5 golf I saw a perfectly good rado g60 get broken the other day cos the guy had used the engine in a mk1 and had lost the will to put another engine in the rado, it was black with no to very little rust and a full heated, electric cream leather recaro interior upsetting...

very very nice car -
How do they get the ripple effect (probably the wrong word) along the bottom of the sills after treating for rust?
-
Nice, white wheels are the way forward ;)
-
How did you get them to fit, I have a pair and couldn't find a way to make them fit a Corrado. I ended up buying a pair from a Renault clio 197 with bolt on brackets (same as Seat brembos)
-
My rado had 170k mls on it and I had a freshly rebuilt 1.8T in the garage so it was a bit of a no brainer for me. I believe the newer systems are more reliable than the old k jet injections aswell and without stressing the engine and turbo to much I can get nearly 100bhp more than the old 1.8 16v with just a remap.

looks good, keep the updates coming

I have a box from a mk6 golf on mine and thought the same as the drive cups turned the same way. But when I fitted it and had the driveshafts on I noticed they turned opposite ways when turned, was gutted.
-
Cool, I'll get it stripped

Got this beam free when I bought a pair of mk4 calipers and braided hoses and have been thinking about cleaning it up, getting it powder coated and new bushes etc It has a fair bit of rust lumps falling off of it, do you think its to far gone? Sorry for the amount of pics but I wanted to give a good idea of its condition
-
The strips virtually fell off as they were only held by small bits of tape at each end, the old glue is a b****h to get off though
