1. Just for you Wendy. One of my cats pretending to have used up all its lives.
2. But it was a Corrado curved line! £300 would have got me an A3 charcoal and watercolour sketch of the whole car. Not bad really I suppose given the current pricing commisioned artwork. I'll just take a picture and convert it in some paint package. Maybe add some ants around the wheels.
3. Got a strangeish one last night. Was doing my troubador thing and during the evening went out to the car to collect some stuff. Coming back a woman, attractive by the way, said "Beautiful curve." "What curve?" says I, confused cos I'm a skinny bu*ger and don't have much in the way of curves. "From the front to the back of your car." says she holding up a pad which had a few half sketches of the car,but all based around the line from the front to the rear. Asked her for a sketch of the car for my "office"but she said she doesn't do cars but the body line was too good to miss and anyway she only works to commission and the minimum fee was £300. Chuffed but disappointed all at the same time.
4. At 2 pm today I retired, for the fourth and hopefuly final time. May get some time for the Corrado now. She who must be ignored says I won't last more than a coupler of months before I look for something else.
5. You run a garage perchance? Two posts saying take it to a garage. We "people" have a wide range of mechanical experience which is passed on freely. If you never try you will never learn. If you have nothing contructive to say go away and learn some basic literary skills, then your dismissive posts may be properly constructed and punctuated.
6. Let Google translate the page, It's hilarious. "---- astonishment is great for driving and colleague Vegard Johnsen Møller from Broom. Not because of the dizzying speed alone. But mostly because we've just been parked by a tilårskommen, skamsenket Volkswagen Corrado. See our video test of the Audi RS4 here! VR6 ... and some supplementary? What is under the hood of the car sick boar, we will never know. I think I saw a VR6 badge on the tailgate, without being completely cocksure. But eksosdottene who slams out of the pot at every shift, hints overcharging. Booklet overcharging ..."
7. So sad. I only knew him through these pages but feel I have lost a friend. My deepest condolences to his family.
8. Irwin Bolt grippers are the way to go. Never failed on me yet. http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/330879315214?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&_lwgsi=y&cbt=y

Personally I love it. Don't know who the young lady is but she has some fame and notoriety in some groups I take.

It would appear you laid some Stratocumulus stratiformis over it, however perhaps eaypops has induced a little ray of sunshine.
15. I got the brushpack from Eurocarparts. Mine is a 1.8 16v, not sure what flavour 16v you have. http://www.eurocarparts.com/car-regulators-relays-and-solenoids
16. That's the top half of your old broken guide/funnel so should be off.
17. Looks to be a slight burr on the crankshaft nose where the keyway is. Smooth that ut before you fit the new pulley or it will wobble. I used a flat oilstone on mine, only took a couple of minutes.
18. Finally got round to fitting the window regulator to the drivers door. What a fiddley pain it is. Should also thank Borachris for supplying it, in October!!!
19. I got mine from VW dealers, next day delivery. Parts cost about £35. I think I included part numbers and prices in the previous link.
20. Hmm. Lack of power and popping back exhaust. That sounds really familiar. See post No 14 in this thread. http://direct.the-corrado.net/showthread.php?55045-Fate-tempted-and-it-retaliated/page2&highlight=%2Bfate+%2Btempted
21. I didn't hit it with anything. I put a rag over the end to protect my hand and leant on it.
22. Had look on Vagcat and it lists a "funnel" as mine was described. Part no shown as 053 103 663 which has the same last six numbers.
23. No, mine is firm, it sounds as if it is not pushed on enough. It's been a while sine I replaced mine but I think it pushed on and seemed to seat then required another dunt to get it fully on.
