1. Saw a nice grey late corrado this morning... on the side of the road... with the hood up  in Dundee on riverside drive near the Perth round about. There was a ford mondeo helping him out so hopefully he got away to where ever he was going!
2. but i wanna live! :( ---------- Post added at 12:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:05 PM ---------- yeah! That would be cool... how about meeting at doune? Theres a castle for some nice pics, some nice local pubs and lots of B roads. Also, they have a hill climb circuit! :D http://www.motorsportcircuits.co.uk/html/doune_hill_climb_guide.html
3. Found an old handle... Looks ok. Where shall I send it? Sent from my iPhone you lemon!
4. Nah... If I can find one it's yours ;) Sent from my iPhone you lemon!
5. I wouldn't want to jump out to take a few pictures though!
6. I'm in Dundee and would love a Scottish meet... maybe meet in Falkirk or Stirling?? not far from either Glasgow, Fife, Tayside, Edinburgh. And Stirling is close to some nice wee drives.
7. ohh, i see.. I have two spare handles at home with no barrels in them... I'll have a look tonight if you like
8. dude... if your talking about the locking pin, looks like an arm that rocks back and forth when you pull the handle, then these always brake and getting a second hand replacement aint going to help much. Dave16v on this forum makes stainless steel replacements that are the only real solution to the problem. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?10426-Door-handle-repair-kit..........THEY-ARE-NOW-AVAILABLE&highlight=door+handle
9. there are loads of vac pipes there though... which one is for the mpg?
10. I've already had the battery disconnected loads of times... It's not working since I bought the car No cake for you! I know there is a vac line in the engine bay but where is it?
11. utterr b*stards... that's seriously off!
12. just reads 99.9mpg all the time... checked the back of the clocks and the vacuum hose was attached and looked fine... where does the hose go to in the engine bay and what else could be causing this? :thumbleft:
13. at leat i have an MOT mr Monkey man!
14. I got this one the other day... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volkswagen-VW-Chrome-Emblem-Keyring-Key-Ring-Gift-Box-/220814323091?pt=UK_Car_Parts_Vehicles_Automobila_ET&hash=item33698f2d93
15. I agree I'm afraid... The centre console and the little plastic cover that slip over the handle don't look that good at all. Even new... thing is I have no idea of any other alternative
16. First time in the rado for ages and I got spotted! Whey! Just outside Kirkcaldy, fife. Other chap was in a red VR6, looked very nice :) Sent from my iPhone you lemon!
17. get the car up in the air at the front, jack it up and then get it on some axle stands or something. Then get the front wheels off and take a look... you'll see any big things on a visual inspection. Check every nut and bolt... all I can surmise from your description is their is something up at the front of the car with the suspension... so look at the struts, top mounts, wishbones, subframe, hubs and tracking arms. Just tap them with a hammer and move them about. The hub should move freely left and right with the steering wheel and the hubs should spin as long as its out of gear. check the spings aren't wobbling about and all the nuts and bolts are attached. But no.. unless you have checked over the suspension I wouldn't drive the car.
18. wow... That sounds serious! could be top mounts, loose suspension, ball joint about to pop out... Loads of things! For instance... My C did this just before the wishbones fell of the subframe and threw me into a ditch! Get her up on a ramp and check all the suspension.
19. ph will effect how it reacts with the paint. high ph may bleach the paint and low ph may damage the paint (acidic). TBH though, the amount of water you put on your car anyway It's probably not going to matter much!
20. oooh and I had a little race with a golf vr6 in brizzle on the M32... must have been stock cus I blew it out of the water, was so impressed!
21. cider and chutney's didn't come close to the petrol... 900 miles took about £150! forgot how thirsty she was! (heavy foot didn't help though!) Was a great weekend and she didn't miss a beat! There was a little bother with a flat battery after I left the passenger light on in the car though! :bonk: Met up with Kris on Sunday and we had lunch and a quick pootle round Fairford. Was great meeting up with a club member in my actual car!!! :D Thing is... now I dunno what to do. What I SHOULD do is get her SORN and take out the charger ready to be serviced. There is a little to much oil in the breather pipe for my liking but I dunno.. I wouldn't mind driving her around for a few weeks just to get used to her again. There's loads of silly little things I need to fix though... 90mm splitter is held on with cable ties internal trim needs fixing and headlining needs cleaning and re-fitting internal sunroof seal needs fitting sunroof needs re-aligning fuel filter leaks a very small amount (can smell fuel coming off it) gear box oil still needs changing My exhaust needs fixing better need a new rear bumper iron bonnet needs re-spraying (well... the whole car really!) still have a broken bolt in the tensioner pulley bracket that needs tapping and replacing New air filter And thats just what I can think of.... I'm sure there's more.
22. I did fit it in the end but couldn't get the screws in to the rad panel... It's been galvanised so i don't think they'llgo in now without being tapped, so I just cable tied them as neo suggested! --- - Sent from my iPhone you lemon!
23. I was quite tired last night but I decided The corrado should get another look at... Was wondering why my drivers side suspension was lower than my passenger side... so I took the front wheels off and measured the drop, was EXACTLY the same on both sides  Then I noticed that my drivers side tyre is a 205 x 55 and my passenger side is a 195 x 55 :brickwall:
