  1. Wiper blades are real cheap in Halfords with a trade card, if you want I can get them for you. Rog.
  2. Good try Kev... ;) Can't believe a 1 billion dollar project is held together with cable ties... I mean what's wrong with duct tape FFS.... Rog.
  3. Went up with a couple of work mates on Friday, very impressed with the whole show but must say the boys on the Corrado stand have done us proud, car looked awesome and the stand was well presented. Good work fellas. Rog.
  4. Plymouth Marsh Mills Sainsbury's. Lovely N plate black Corrado, anyone here? Rog.
  5. Jim, I've found it, someone posted a link in the NEC thread on the CCGB forum. You are right there is a link on the clubs front page but it's part of the moving banner so if you look at the wrong time you may not see it. Rog.
  6. Evening all, any idea where I can find the CCGB discount code? I've had a good look round the club website but can't find it. Rog.
  7. Hammered one around Castle Combe a few years ago on a lotus track day, surprisingly good. Not bad cars if you like wearing Burberry, don't forget to get a dog guard, don't want to get staffie dog hairs on the seats do you...lol Bonus extra fact.... You can get one full and 2 half sovereign rings in the ash tray... Rog.
  8. I can indeed confirm that the glue is in my possession.. Rog.
  9. Awesome progress mate, good work fella, this is going to be stunning. Rog.
  10. Kip, what do you mean by 'beam pattern hid'. That looks very good, I'd be happy with that. Rog.
  11. It was actually on a bmw forum, someone retro fitting it.... I guess everyone wants the big six up front and active aero at the back....lol Rog.
  12. Just found this online: Thats what you will see when you remove the cover, just pull the handle out (bit in the middle) and twist, the spoiler will raise. EDIT... beaten to it...lol Rog.
  13. Take the cover off that covers the motor, you'll see the motor and a tee shaped handle, pull on it and then twist and the spoiler will move. Rog.
  14. Bad news but tbh it all looks repairable, hopefully it shouldn't be too difficult or expensive. Rog.
  15. As above, satin looks a lot better, think I'll do mine, what paint did you use?? Rog.
  16. On my friends astra the hids simply replaced the existing lamps, no modification to the light units required. Obviously with Corrado light units the wiring is internal so there will be some wiring issues but nothing major. Anyway, I'm half way through making my own upgrated loom so I'll see how much it is with that and night breakers before I consider the hid option. Rog.

    HID's

Has anyone fitted HID's to there Corrado?? Saw a mate of mine who has aftermarket hids fitted to his Astra, really bright. I'm not a fan of the blue-ish light but you can get them in a warmer colour, maybe a solution to the woe full lights on the Rado. Rog.
  18. Ha ha, class, reminds of the time my Mrs came home early and found an Alfa 33 gearbox in the dish washer.... Rog.
  19. Bloody hell those hubs have come up like new, good work mate. Good to see you using it buddy, cars dont really like being sat and it also gives us an excuse for a South West Rado meet during the winter sometime. Also, I've got a dizzy cover here if you want it, it's been painted white but I'm sure you could paint it another colour. Rog.
  20. Fella's, Just checking my pressures and noticed the label on the drivers door jam says 2.5 and 2.2 but also states 205 tyres. Now I've got 195 tyres on the OE solitude alloys so can I assume that the OE stated pressures will be ok?? I've thinking yes but want to just make sure. Rog.
  21. That makes sense Jim, it's all about the 13.5 teeth so if in the wrong position the cams could be 0.5 of a tooth out. Know what you are saying Kev, I just assumed that the gear reduction on each shaft would have equal and even so it wouldn't matter if it was 180 out, like 1/4 reduction crank to inter then another 1/4 inter to cam, obliviously VW had a different idea...lol I didn't check this when I did mine recently, it doesn't feel down on power so hopefully I got it right...lol Rog.
  22. Did he give a reason why?? I can't why it would make any difference what position the intermediate sprocket was in as long as the cams are aligned, AFAIK the only thing the intermediate does is drive the oil pump and provide some gear gown so the cams rotate 1/2 the speed of the crank. BTW, good work, engine looks awesome. Rog.
  23. Get it VAGCOM scanned, see what faults its throwing up, there is a thread on here with a list of people willing to scan it. Rog.
  24. Wish I'd known mate, got a press at work, could have removed them for you. Rog.
