That or you've got one or more of these problems - --> RCA cables run too close to power cables, rereoute them or switch to a low oxygen shielded cable --> Dodgy earth Still trying to work mine out, but it's a pain in the ass to troubleshoot! HTH randal -
Couldn't think of another name for it! Seems to work pretty well. I ended up calling it someone else when I dropped one of them into the door cavity though :roll:

Just got mine fitted about 15 minutes ago. You might have problems getting the whole lot to play ball. I ended up having to bend the lever on the lock mechanism up about 3-4mm, and twidling the lil' white plastic bell end on the handle down a fraction to meet it. Then had problems with the internal lock push, more twiddling with the white thing et voila! You gotta colour code em, they look wicked 8)

I have the same problem in more or less the same spot. People suck. I think dentmaster are probably the best people to talk to. But I don't know what their prices and stuff are like... Anyone else?

Spotted a Perl Grey 2.0 16V plough into a parked 205 last night... It's mortifying, especially when you know the dude that owned the car : :cry: Nasty front nearside damage, headlight, bumper, bonnet, wing, indicator, fog.... Such a shame, gonna cost the dude an arm and a leg to get it sorted too. Wasn't yours Phil K don't worry :lol:

Will have to look into this a little further methinks. Don't fancy the idea of grinding a starter motor cos I fell asleep with my finger on the remote start button.... Cheers for the info anyways y'all, randal

I wonder if Toad (or in fact anyone else) alarms with the 4 button remotes can be hooked up to this. I'd love to have a remote start for those winter mornings... Lean out of window, crack car over, go back to sleep for 10 minutes.... 8)

How much of a pain is the conversion out of interest? (Or is this just another good reason for selling what I've got and getting a later spec G60...) Hmmmmmm.... 8)

Think I've got a similar problem on mine too, well the start of it. There's about 1-2mm play on the pulley itself, and on cold start I get a horrible metal on metal grinding noise. :( Are these parts available from a motor factor's, or is this going to be a stealer affair? Cheers randal

I've got a similar thing on mine. As you look at the bay, on the pulley rigs on the left, the top most pulley squeels (like metal on metal) at start up, then disappears after 2 mins of driving. I've WD40'd it for now, but it's going to need replacing. Someone also said that this was the water pump? It looks like a tensioner to me, but without ma Haynes manual I'm stuffed.

Nah, the valver was a bluey kinda colour. I was in a grey G plate 16v, just approaching the roundabout at Frimley Park. Didn't realise there were so many Corrado's near me. Just found out an old family friend from way back bought one as well. Damn, they are becoming too common! Noooo!

I've spoken to a couple of those garages before, one of the ones in Reading didn't exactly fill me with much confidence... ...can't remember exactly what was said, but I put the phone down thinking "ummm, no - you're not having my car!" Manifold warping sounds pretty damn scary, and no doubt expensive. *sigh*. Guess I'm just going to have to bite the bullet on this one. Cheers for the advice randal
