  1. Lovin' It, might wait until it gets the R32 engine before ordering though :)
  2. Why are you installing plant pots in the back of the car?
  3. After taking nearly two weeks to process these photos, thought I'd share with you... Usual address for samples http://www.autoposter.co.uk Here's a few samplers for you :)
  4. [throwing extra fuel onto the fire] As has been pointed out to me today, if the high price of fuel is to do with the increase in crude oil prices, why hasn't fuel come down now that crude has come back down to the level it was before Hurricane Harriet? [/throwing extra fuel onto the fire]

    Golf GT

I'd agree with that, my most fun Car is definitely still my Rocco Storm with 1.9, lairy Shrick-cammed. Just sooooo chuckable.

    Lost 20 BHP!

1.8 and 2.0 16v had about the same power output, 2.0 had slightly more torque. But both are quoted at 136bhp at the flywheel.
  7. That's why I thought I saw a DB9 on the M1 this morning - it was pretty much "disguised", but I was sure it was a DB9... :)
  8. This was actually bank holiday weekend, but I've only just had time to edit the photos down to a reasonable size, and sort out the wheat from the chaff :) Anyroad, a few choice cuts below, full link at autoposter.co.uk
  9. TBH Fuel economy will be about the same as your VR, quite shocking I know, but that's Carbs for you ;) PowerSteering - Come on, build up those arm muscles :) Brakes - I ended up going for Audi 80 front setup, leaving the back as standard Drums, works quite effectively. Good idea to check out the fuel filler neck, common fault on Roccos. Also a good idea to check the throttle cable isn't trying to pull the bulkhead through (kits are available for this if it happens)
  10. Yeah, I like the sound of it, been following the developments on F1-Live for about a year now. Could be quite good, but unfortunately, no terrestrial TV coverage in the UK :( So, I'm buggered if I'm getting Sky just for A1GP...
  11. Don't worry about the DVLA - They never had the Corrado's down as Storms anyway, just normal Corrado VR6 :) If you let me know the Chassis number, I can give you more idea :)
  12. Beat me to it ;) The Alfa RZ, I NEARLY bought one of these back in about 97, when I was looking at Chris de Bono's Campaign then... both about the same price (£17k)... I know which is worth more now :(
  13. Mine lasted the whole of my ownership from 70k up to 128k miles, no problems whatsoever - had it "checked" everytime I had the car serviced by either BR Motorsport or Mick at Jabba, ne'er a prob :)
  14. The Bo**ocks one was actually made by VW, I saw it at the Cinema too... the Terrorist one wasn't though...
  15. For a pretty comprehensive history on Campaigns (though not THAT complete) have a looky http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23264&lighter=campaign
  16. The first weekend I had the Campaign I drove up to Scotland (West Coast) and around, then back in three days I did about 1500 miles - Good initiation to VR6 ownership :)
  17. Neither is as sought after as Dusty Mauve ;) Welcome to the club Storm1 :) Hope you enjoy the fresh can o' worms I've always thought that the Storm is a nice car to have if you can get one, there ARE nicer non-Storm Corrado's out there, but generally they are customised to a particular person (different wheels/seats etc. etc.) Whether they are "worth" the extra money is down to the individual buying its tastes. FWIW the dark interior is easier to maintain to a high standard, and IMHO looks nicer too - but hey, that's just my opinion.
  18. It's one of the early press test cars - look out for collection of sand in the crevices ;)
  19. Ooooh - full frontal (non)-Nudity :)
  20. I think you'll find that unless you can find some specialist software, no software I'm aware of is gonna cut it so far as TRACK use goes, as they all rely on "road" maps, and none (that I'm aware of) have tracks listed on roads, so they'll take your position as being the nearest road. Also, GPS isn't really accurate enough for track data anyway.
  21. When are you gonna be at The Pod? Wouldn't mind getting some pics of this ;)
  22. Just be glad you didn't have a Fujitsu HDD :) No end of them failed on us after 15 or so months.... Great for the data recovery people though ;-)
  23. "There are two tools you need in life - duck tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duck tape, if it don't move and it should use WD40..."
