  1. But the second one appeared on the cover of The Sprinter....
  2. Errr, they wern't, I think Guy just had them made up and was selling them himself... Guy had bought them himself from a supplier, and was selling them from his car which was parked on the club stand. I didn't say the club was selling them...
  3. Like a lot of people on this forum, I don't think the CNUT idea is particularly funny (though I can see the joke). TBH I thought it was quite disgusting that the CCGB was promoting these shirts at Inters last year and did my utmost to distance myself from it then. Also (strangely) I think you might find copyright issues if you use the word...
  4. Managed get a few (only a few) shots from the show this afternoon. Hope you likee... http://autoposter.fotopic.net
  5. Never knew these existed... certainly never officially offered...

    Am I mad?

Not all 87 Roccos were carb, Scalas were a special edition which started out as a Carb engined model, then changed over to fi (about 89 - but could be wrong)

    Am I mad?

The brakes aren't the worst (have you ever tried a 1974 Golf N?) But they are shockingly bad alongside a Corrados. You get used to them, and drive with plenty of room between you and the car in front. As a cheap runabout you will be hard pushed to find a better vehicle, in good nick they have a certain kudos and because it is all standard VW mechanicals they don't cost toooo much to run either.
  8. Excellent! Maybe I won't get people ringing me up about the Corrado G60 I sold nearly three years ago ;) Seriously though, good looking and nice.

    Which Amp

I wasn't gonna sell him mine ;) (either of them!) Hi J-Bob! It works great in the Pug BTW.

    Which Amp

Denon DCA-800 is a great multi-channel amp, which you should be able to get for about £100 roughly.
  11. Without the red interior, probably between £2,500 and £3,500. High mileage and lack of history will put some peeps off...
  12. The actual seats are Recaro parts (probably twice as expensive through VW). If you are getting them "stripped" it might be worth getting the optional lumbar supports
  13. Another alternative is that there are several companies that will treat your leather to restore it to it's former glory often using the original materials. I take it there's no rips or tears in the leather, in which case you should just be able to do this. AND it keeps it original too... Check out some of the classic car mags for numbers etc.
  14. It was Karmann who commissioned the interiors for the Campaigns, not Slotts of Scoan Square... Majik, be careful about the headrests, don't know if he could copy those, and they're the irreplacable bit...
  15. Bloody Irish hooligans ;)
  16. Erm, they never sold them over there.... :( There IS a Storm in New Zealand though ;)
  17. The one on ebay a couple of weeks ago wasn't the same car, although I believe it was featured in Max Winker, wrong body kit for a start. Don't know what Trippy did with the original...
  18. Approx £20k I think... Or do you need a more "exact" price?
  19. Okay, nobody has mentioned any of my top three yet, so here we go... 1. Nothelle Classics 2. Mille Miglia Evo 5 3. Zender Monzas 4. VW Monte Carlo (Original Corrado VR6) 5. er.... that's about it really, maybe OZ Polaris too...
  20. Or a dusty mauve one ;) Ah, but there would be two then ;)
  21. Just got one word... Campaign :-P
