Depends if you have an external fuel pump just under the floor pan, next to the OSR wheelarch. If you have an external pump - the second of your pictures is correct. If you do not have an external pump - the first of your pictures is correct. This single pump needs to be rated at 4 bar. There are some almost identical 3 bar pumps around. The 3 bar type will not supply enough fuel for your car.

Critical_Mass, As you have a G60, there won't be any performance loss.

Dennis.be, ATE powergroove discs are very good - same as any other grooved disc. They help stop the pads & discs from "scorring". Grooved discs perform way better than drilled ones.

Yeah - that's why I shop at Asda

I have a mate who moved to Barwick about 3 years ago. I had the Corrado for a year before moving down here. I was round your kneck of the woods quite a lot.

Just checked my spare (knackered) one. As Daz says - both marks are pointing to 12 o'clock. Although the top one isn't visible in this pic.

Mk2 & Mk3 calipers are both prone to seizing with equal regularity (after a few years). Unless you're going to be keeping the car for several years, stick Mk2 calipers on. If you're keeping the car - stick a pair of Mk4 calipers & conversion brake hoses on. The guy who told you that Mk3 calipers were less likely to seize than Mk2 ones was talking crap.

Purely for looks m8

Yes - it is seized & yes - you need a new one. BTW - MK3 calipers seize just as easily as the MK2 ones .. If you want calipers that won't seize, you'll need MK4 ones with conversion brake hoses.

Da Da Da, another one bites the dust .. I wonder if his mum was fully insured ??

These discs have been around for a few years now & never really caught-on.

I lived in a few areas of Leeds including Beeston, Morley, Farsley, Harehills, Bramley & then I bought a house in Oulton where I lived for 8 years. Moved to Birmingham last year, as I was offered a job down here. Leeds is way better than Birmingham for a night out - clubs in Leeds are much better than the ones down here. In fact I'd say that Leeds is second only to London, where nightlife is concerned. Which part are you from ?

Doesn't sound good m8 - maybe a PM to g-man would be in order.

Sounds like you were lucky not to rip off the exhaust and split the fuel tank - AFAIK the fuel tank will be plastic. Hopefully it won't cost too much to repair.

Not my choice of colour but workmanship & sprayjob look great - well done Andy .. 8) You fancy spraying a front grille & RS2 front bumper for me :D -
Nice one Roddy - hopefully my G60 will do the same for the next few years.

Welcome to the forum m8 .. Here you go - I find the easiest way is to line up the cam & crank pulleys at TDC, remove distributor cap & turn rotor arm to TDC mark on distributor body. Fit belt with pulleys in that postion.

Critical_Mass, Welcome to the forum m8 ..

I doubt that fitting a straight through piece instead of the silencer will make any difference to your emmissions at all. The problem is that you will reduce some of the exhaust back pressure. Non force-inducted cars need exhaust back pressure to run properly. The exhaust back pressure causes a suction effect in the exhaust manifold & enables the engine to run properly. The reason for my question was that if you had a G60 - you could quite safely remove the silencer & stick a staight piece of pipe there instead. G60's have much less of a requirement for exhaust back pressure.

Time to inspect his knees with a hammer ehh ..

If that happened to my car - I'd be looking for a new girlfriend .. I wonder if he's thinking about doing this - http://www.mrandmrswheatley.co.uk/heysucker.html

jdubya, That's some maze of pipework there ..

My car is fast ..

Rear brakes are completely self adjusting. Is the handbrake mechanism on your rear caliper/s seized ??

My car's very low - as you can see in my sig pic. I took a speed bump at 45mph while in France a few weeks ago (it stepped out in front of me  ) - all 4 wheels left the road & my suspension's still okay. Didn't hit the sump either ..
