the reventon can now be had as a convertable aswell. gets the engine from the sv and you can have the roof off, awesome! and only 15 will be made, so rarer than the coupe

well the reviewer said that forza 2 was a bit dissappointing and this is far superior. i loved forza 2 and thought it was the best racing game i had ever played, so i cant wait to play this if its that much better! good job ive pre ordered it!!

Bolts snapp all the time, plus his car has been fitted with non standard items,so you dont have much to stand on......:[/quote:274y7a2x] that is true. its a tough one. however, you have paid them to do a job, and it sounds like its not been done poorly and not up to standard in my opinion. if you specifically said dont use new bolts then fair enough, but they should have used new ones really. over tightening them is poor workmanship in my opinion again. if an accident had happened and they traced it back to a sheered bolt then im sure there would be consequences i also think people would have a different opinion if it had been a mother and child in the car, not a grown man if you raise the issue with trading standards then it will be given a case and at least you have a reference to it. thats my 2p worth anyway for what its worth
-
Give trading standards a ring, at least u know where u stand then. Poor workmanship or neglegence would be taken seriously. You say psi don't wanna know? That's not on if it's true
-
it will be running a little rich. its not a problem
-
should be released the end of october, ive pre ordered mine already
-
not really. assuming that is your standard turbo? you think thats a problem?
-
nope, there are loads about. plug and play for a grand? bargain if you ask me! you could always make the loom yourself and save some money, its not that difficult though
-
you will be best off converting your engine wiring loom or going stand alone managment and making/buying a wiring loom. if you change to a mk4 fusebox you will need to change the rest of the wiring in the car to suit that. you can use any gearbox that fits the 4 cylinder engines e.g g60, 16v the mk4 gearboxs are bigger and a pain to fit, so i wouldnt bother g60 engine mounts will be fine. bear in mind that you will need to rob the rear engine mount off you current engine to fit to the new engine aswell

you do need to be careful with the card, as some things on offer are not eligible for trade. for instance, if you take up their 2 for 1 offer on the headlight bulbs (the brilliance or extra blue things) you wont get money off. you can either have one or the other, but not both as far as i understand. the cards are worth having though, ive got one and you can save alot of money on things like bulbs and blades. but bear in mind, you will almost certainly get them at the same price in a motor factors with a bit of discount. so halfords is good in an emergency. you normally get 15% off tools i think, but the tools are top notch in my opinion
-
i can confirm the the 20vt turbo conversion is awesome though! forced induction is a must either way! the g60 is good, but nothing compared to a turbo motor in my opinion
-
Vr6 turbos are awesome! build it build it build it! i bet you will not be disappointed! however, to really confirm how awesome they are, i need a ride in 1, so if anyone wants to obligue....

thats true, not sure if it would show up which lambda is at fault on vagcom? keep at it though, you will get there
-
i would say the lambda sensor could be up the shoot. the other bits and pieces may not be connected on your set up, but the lambda is. clear all the fault codes and try them again in a few days, see what appears again. Rob
-
take it the main dealer, they should put it in VAG COM as long as you have a diagnostic port (which i assume you do if cc remapped it). it might cost you £30 but at least you will know if something is a miss. has it got noticably slower or has it always been like this since you had it mapped?
-
i would have thought that if he had it mapped by custom code then it would be factory managment
