Corrado Spotting! Was it you? [Archive December 05]
gradeAfailure replied to PBSTORM's topic in General Car Chat
I've seen that G60 MTV about before in Guildford - had a chat with him and he said he used to be on here but not so much anymore... Saw an M-plate Aqua blue VR on the A33 heading out of Reading last Sat - racing a CTR too! -
It'd be cheap if they shipped to the UK, but they don't...!
-
One day...
-
The interior of the Saleen looks like a bit of a parts-bin special to me, whereas everything on the Veyron is just for the Veyron... I'll have two, please Mr Bugatti...!
-
Is it wrong that I like those...? OSV, are those standard depth outer rims on there?
-
Yup, I'll be boring too and say Corrado VR6 in Ice Grey Violet Pearl, black leather Recaros and every option box ticked...!
-
One of my faves has to be mister carpoid's as well - those 16" BBS splitties just look luuuurvely...
-
Right... :) Borbets on ...and looking sa-weeeet!
-
It's looking lush - just editing the pics at the mo... ;)
-
Gotta be... 1. RS301s - now that I have a set - but with 1" outers and gold bolts... ;) 2. 17" Borbet As - oh wait, got them too... 3. Borbet Ts - on the girlf's car 4. Jay's Corvette rims 5. Split and widened G60 steels... ;)
-
I think you should call it Tarquin... :D

Damnit, you are one lucky man! -
Only had mine since Friday so can't comment on long term running costs - but the previous owner spent more on the car in the two years that he had it than I actually bought it for! Hopefully all I'll have to worry about will be regular servicing and prodigious fuel consumption...! But then who buys a damn-near 3L V6 sports coupe and worries about economy...? ;)
-
I'm gonna be boring and say Jay's and Lee's Corrados - boring I know, but there you go... ;) Jay, for simply building a factory finished daily driver MkIV Corrado, and Lee for actually changing my opinion of it once I saw it in the metal! Gonna count Ben's as a Corrado of 2006 cause that's when it'll be properly finished, and damn it'll be a show stealer even more! But for everyday rados that I can aspire to myself - Kev's and Tom's have to be right up there...
-
chalk another one up to the ubiquitous Aqua Blue Pearl clan... ;)
-
Mind you... bit nice...!

gradeAfailure replied to gradeAfailure's topic in Members Gallery
Heheh, a new thread for Soph will be started once Sen has been re-homed! Need to take some final farewell pics of her though :( to convince Jim to buy her :) -
Lol... I've seen the wheels that Mr Nut is putting on and they are very lush indeed... ;)
-
I'm afraid this is an internet forum - impartial advice is not on the menu here...! Errr, buy four different brands and see which corner of the car loses grip first...? Seriously, have a read through all the posts on tyres and see what the majority are saying!
-
Looking good Jonathan - get some pix of your centre console up there...!
-
I know that they were rather rare, and are one of very few, if not the only sets around... PM aposegil - that's Alex - and ask him!
-
Hey, I thought Falkens were alright...? Never had any problems with mine... ;)
-
When I get a VR6 - If I had 1k to mod - where to start
gradeAfailure replied to simonr's topic in General Car Chat
Heheh, you're saying that there's a better car than a VR6 rado...?! Shame on you... Best place to start would be a set of Koni T/As and H&R springs, a set of 288mm or 312mm brakes, a BMC and a stainless exhaust... That's if it doesn't need the chains and tensioners done first, that is...! -
Looking forward to seeing pics of this chilly!
