  1. I'd personally spend the extra and get one that's already had the oily bits sorted - you'll not just be saving a bit of money in the long run, but time, headaches, and hassle! my 2p...
  2. Yup, kudos to you Mr R, I shall be awaiting the mag with baited breath... :)
  3. Get a Cit ZX instead - same chassis, just as well built, and half the price... The Volcane TD will turn in 55+mpg, and is quite nippy too... Plus, you still get to use GSF for parts!
  4. Yup, hope you get your problem sorted gatchula - and I wasn't extracting the urine, just helping people to help you faster!
  5. I have auto-down on all four of my windows, but only auto-up on the driver's... Laura's C is the same, but with only 2 windows obviously...
  6. Very nice and clean indeed - a credit to its current (and former) owner!
  7. Just get a cheap set of watchmaker/electronics screwdrivers - shouldn't be more than a couple of quid from a Halfords or electronics shop... hth!
  8. Actually, my 'rat is the pre-facelift 35i (B3 as it's known here) - the shape changed at '93 to the facelifted B4, then changed again to the newer shape at R-reg.
  9. yeah, gotta stick around, where would the forum be without your random Google-Image-Searching weirdness...?! I've not got a 'rado, nor have ever owned one, so I think you still have more of a reason to be here than I do!
  10. Still want that Goof looked at matey...?
  11. My 'rat has the same plastic sheet as the Seat Toledos of the same year - only theirs are red... Not too sure if it'll fit the Corrado heater panel, as i think that the front panel is different even though the actual control unit behind it is almost identical... Might be worth a peek next time you're at a scrappy though!
  12. I've had a bad experience with Sh*t And Polish - I was told (after getting my wheels back with nasty hook gouges on the inner faces) that they don't consider the inner faces to be part of the refurb - IMO, that's just not on, and I won't ever use them again. Next time, I'll give BJV Engineering - http://www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk - a go, but will be talking in depth to them first! I have heard good things about Pristine, as Mr Haywire has used them, and we all know how high his standards are!
  13. Lovely looking car, not too sure on the removal of front fogs and indicators, but absolutely stunning otherwise! Top Work Fella!
  14. How 80s?! heheh... Like the engine though..., tres 8)
  15. Sorry to hear you're having more hassle mate, but if you'd wanted an easy life you'd have bought a Corolla! Hope you get it sorted soon though buddy...
  16. i like the idea, but somehow i just don't think that looks right!
  17. I think you'll get a bit more interest if you post a price, some details of the history of the car, and some pics tbh mate!
  18. lucky get... so, a group trip out to see him is on the cards then...? ;)
  19. Didn't someone on here try using light pipes or something...? Yup, twas Andy Brookes - check out this thread, especially page 2... hth!
  20. green bulbs are the way to do it, trust me on this...!
  21. Shaggsy, whose rado is that...? rather like it...!
  22. ^^^^ yup, what 'im said - like it apart from the skirts, they're just a bit too large. get some subtler ones on there and it's sorted!
