Anyone want German plates with a GB flag?
gradeAfailure replied to gradeAfailure's topic in Suppliers Forum
It would appear that they have a newer website - http://www.europeanplates.net I have emailed them regarding a possible Group Buy, so will see what they say... -

B**TARDS BROKE OFF MY MIRROR! CAN IT BE REPAIRED
gradeAfailure replied to Blue_Joe's topic in Exterior
Sam, I think you'll be ok - afaik, you only have to have two mirrors on the car, as my first car (Nova ) only had one wing mirror... -
I think he lives down my folks' road - had a couple of smiles and waves off him when he's seen the 'rado and 'rat parked outside, but not said hi yet... It looks pretty nice actually...!

760bhp Corrado (that's 760BHP....at the wheels!)
gradeAfailure replied to PhatVR6's topic in General Car Chat
That's one meeeeeeeeeeeeental Corrado! Think those front wheels may just be a bit larger than the rears methinks... -
Best wheels with black centre and polished lip?

Oh, I'm fully aware that this has been done for aaaaaaaaaaages anyway, heheh... I was going for the So-Cal look, and that seems to be the norm over there... -

Cheers for the pic boost Phil...! Heheh... Mine now have flat centre caps too, which looks better, and I had mine done in April, so hahah... -
They didn't - it's been converted (if I've read the first post correctly)!
-
So it was originally a G60 (were they around at '89?), but is now a VR? Apparently VR's have a habit of idling slightly erratically, which is normal... As for the lack of power when you put your foot down, I'm afraid I can't help you there, but I'm sure it won't be long before someone knowledgeable comes along... Hope you get it sorted!

The Jailor's Charged VR6 ...... No More /Sob
gradeAfailure replied to VR6's topic in Members Gallery
Just had to bring this thread to the fore again and say that next to such exotica like the UPS Corrado and so on, this has to be one of my personal favourite Corrados - there isn't a single thing on it I'd change - and for me, that's saying something! Good work fella... :) -
This standard DOHC one in Germany...?

Someone wanna organise a GB...? ;) -
Then look no further, finally! http://www.europeanplates.com/licenseplates.htm They're an American company but the plates are made in Germany, so you might be able to get them direct-shipped...
-
Speaking on Laura's behalf... "Cheers for all the comments, it's nice to know that everyone likes what I've done to her!!!! The main reason for choosing the Borbet T's (apart from the fact that the look soooo good!) was that I'd not seen them on another C!"
-
Yeah, don't they hit the rear-view mirror or something...?
-
Kudos to the photographer too... She's come a long way... but Scarlett the Second will be impressive... ;)
-
and guess who she goes home with, eh boys... ;)
-
I don't think you can really compare a Storm to a Campaign...! Mind you, weren't there even less 8V Corrados made than Storms? Heheh, so technically, they're even more of a limited edition!
-
I sit corrected!
-
You just can't get the staff these days...

Nitrous! I think with the KR engine, some Schrick cams, porting and polishing the head, decent air filter and exhaust should do... Remember, the aim with tuning is always to get more air in, and get it in and out as fast as possible, and get it burnt as efficiently as possible...
-
The only things specific to Storms are the Mystic Blue paint on the blue ones, and the beige leather on the green ones. Oh, and the badges... Tbh, I personally wouldn't pay the extra for one of them, but if I was getting a C, it'd have to be a VR with heated leather anyway... ;)
