Tbh mate, if you're replacing the stat, I'd splash out a few more dollars and get one of the Neuspeed ones from Awesome GTI - it'll help the engine run a little cooler... Bout 2/3 of the way down the page...
-
Very nice mate! Keep 'em gold - bit of bling never hurt no-one...!
-
Or you go to Surrey Rolling Road, who have a £70k 4WD road capable of taking 600bhp at the wheels on each pair of rollers... ;)

Mate that sucks... :( Yeah, I hate the way people just turn into rabbit/headlight syndrome as soon as they hear a siren... tch... Hope you get it sorted ok...
-
heheh, that just means he should've used a better tattooist!

A warning - don't leave them on when it rains as you do get water and grit buildup underneath it which WILL scratch the paint. Oh, and don't leave it on when it's sunny as the heat and trapped water (from when you left it on in the rain!) makes the paint go all funny. How do I know? I have one on the 'rat, and I'll show you the damage if you don't believe me! Only reason I leave it on is cos the 'rat's bonnet is faded anyway so it don't matter! If you care about your 'rado's paint, only put it on for shows and meets... Clunk! [/2p]

Liking the last one mate, looking very claen and tasty indeed! :thumb right:

Oh yes they do, Mr Doctor... :D I like 'em...

Don't know if it's the same as a MKII Goof, but the GSF matrices are supposed to be good quality I believe...
-
Just gone past Manchester but willing to turn back! PM'd you... :D Anyone else in/around Glasgow...?

to VR or not to VR...that is the question.....
gradeAfailure replied to swfblade's topic in General Car Chat
 Seriously though, I've not driven a G, but the engine noise of the VR is what would clinch it for me... -
Heheh, yup, I've had to do the wire-from starter-soleniod-to-battery trick a few times...! Make sure you do get a VAG ignition switch though, as the GSF ones aren't up to much...
-
look up http://www.motor-world.co.uk - should be able to find one near you...

Mask off the bits you don't want to spray (including the reverse lights!), and don't use Foliatec tinting spray - use Savage, it's better and has less of a tendency to run. Build it up gradually with thin layers until you get to the required shade, then wet&dry it with 1200 grade paper once it's set for a few days. Re-mask it up and do a few coats of lacquer, or take it to a bodyshop and get them to do a proper lacquer layer. Job done!

Stealth RR DVD - Poll Updated (Price of DVD, etc)
gradeAfailure replied to G60Jet's topic in General Car Chat
Yup, we like... Definitely agree on the original Corrado wheel idea though - maybe an Estoril or a Sebring too...? Though it was mostly VRs there! -

I found it's better to change the filters as LEDs don't really give a good spread of light - more a direct beam... [/2p]
