you need the Bosch WR6DP0, they are the standard plug for a G60. expensive though, be careful as you can get WR6DP plugs much cheaper but the '0' at the end is needed

Everyone dies someday. What a way to go :) Oi, you're not helping but if my G60 doesn't start putting the correct amount of fuel in soon I might have to get a diesel and a bike
-
I love them, but I'm a speed freak and know I'll only end up killing myself so I try to steer clear from getting a licence.....but that bike is gorgeous :D
-
I use Muc off cycle cleaner, great stuff. safe on all brake components too
-
Personally, I wouldn't go for any other plug than bosch. the standard is WR6DPO (the 'O' is very important) and the G40 plug is good for modded ones but I would think a bit too cold for your mods. I'm sure someone more clued up will be along to answer soon.

fingers crossed I get my charge cooler, oil cooler and sns chip fitted ready for next years nurburgring trip

Yeah, great reace. Heart in mouth when Kubica hit Hamilton! Totally agree about Ferrari, shouldn't have been allowed to add fuel as it could have worked in their favour hugely, really losing respect for Ferrari at the moment. Can't wait for the last 2 races now!

Hey, looking nice! If that was you I saw on the A418 then I can reccomend Voodoo motorsport, not far from Aylesbury and he really knows his stuff. good luck with the car, they all come with probs when you first get them, part of the fun :)

What alarm and does anyone know a good fitter
MattWilde replied to Radomad1's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
Well, I have a Clifford 650i cat one that can have additions for full closure, remote start and all of that stuff. Had it fitted by Compact Car Audio in Aylesbury (maybe a bit far) and have not once had a false alarm, great guys there that know what they are doing. Can't remember cost, it was 2 years ago I had it done. HTH -
Happened to me recently, turned out to be earth leads. Got them all removed, cleaned and replaced and it's been fine since.

Hello, nice to meet you too. You are now on one of the nicest forums about, so plenty of info and help to be had, enjoy!!

Hi and welcome :D , you have picked a great colour corrado. Just remember the search to see if any questions have already been answered.
-
thought so, a bit of searcing shows that the O means the plug is modified from normal, so back to the shop it seems. Thanks again
-
A bought a set of spark plugs from my local bosch dealer and he gave me a set of bosch platinum WR6DP, when I went to change them the plugs in my car are WR6DPO. Is the 'O' bit important or are the plugs I've been given alright for the job? Thanks in advance

Sorry for the thread hi-jack but does this mean that a set of front and rear koni shock/H&R springs from a mk2 golf would fit a G60 Corrado? My friend has an edition one golf G60 and might be selling his suspension and i'm hoping it will fit my C. Thanks for any help

i had a leak similar to that until yesterday. was the thermostat housing, apparntly made out of recycled bumper plastic :S

NOT SOLVED: G60 only responds to tiny throttle openings
MattWilde replied to G60 Bob's topic in Engine Bay
when my cars timing was seriously retarded i was getting silly oil temps because of the labour to get the thing moving. so overfueling can cause it too. please correct me if i'm talking poo :) -
rubber naturally degrades over time and therefore the grip they give deteriorates too. as a rules i tend to put my rear tyres on the front when the fronts need changing, so my tires are never get too old before they are changed. also i'd be cautious about any high speed on degraded tures, can't imagine they'd hold together at any high temps. hth

depends what u want it for, G-Force in aylesbury have one and that is only 30-45 mins down the A41, but they are subaru people.

all cars in japan have to be limited to 112MPH, it's law over there. so if it was a uk spec one i.e. not imported then it won't have that limiter on it. you can buy the things to de-limit them easily and most import companies do it when they change the speedo from KMH to MPH, so unless it was personally imported i'd be suprised that it was still limited.

as a very rough guide, i declared a dump valve, stainless steel exhaust, induction kit, lowering springs, alloys and uprated discs and pads to one of my insurance companies when i had my turbo and they added £150 to my premiuim. so for all that it was a very small increase. declare everything dowm to blackened VW badges, do not give them the chance to screw you over and most of the time they are just happy that you have told them. oh, and get them to send written confirmation so they can't deny that you told them.

to emphasise the expense point, JUN pistons are made by cosworth, shipped to japan and if we want to buy them, we have to ship them back here as you can't buy them from cosworth. But saying that, we are the best engineers, most indy car cars are built here, at least 4 F1 teams are based here off the top of my head along with a few WRC teams. But in my experiance, i'd rather have a mild powered car than handles really well than an all out power machine than can't be used due to wheel spin and i feel lotus prop up the british way. p.s. would love a dodge charger general lee style though
