Mine fits fine with an Eibach, otherwise Faye has one with a Neuspeed, and Dave and Graham adjusted the brackets and pipework to suit.

Low voltage. I had this on my vulva and ended up wiring the stereo directly to the battery via a suitable fuse.

Shellac, 1000 hurts album. NSFW. [youtube:2vxh7ev4]CSNDrYwptzo[/youtube:2vxh7ev4]

Liking the look of that... :)

She has stunning eyes. I might start polishing my car if there is any chance of meeting her... :luvlove:

You have H3 and H4... They refer to the shape. One is main beam, the other is dipped beam/main beam Oh, and I'd be interested in seeing the prices of the LED units, Yan. :)

I think they would be awesome if they didn't make the car floppier. The original windows are a tw@t to remove though, so they must have some effect on stiffness.

Undo the nut between the oil cooler and the oil filter, and the cooler will drop off. It's a big nut. Like 28mm or 32mm or something.

The VR is a smoother engine than the 4 cylinder cars, so you don't get so much vibration from it. I have one, and it's pretty good. Probably do feel a little more vibration, but it's not the end of the world. 288mm brakes are a hell of a lot better than the 280s, I've got 288s on the VR and 280s on the 16v and you can really feel the difference when coming to a halt from speed.

You did key the original paint/undercoat first? I've done my wheels with matt black and they haven't chipped at all so far.
-
They look awesome :)

I think the VR pump clips to the bottom of the tank, while the 16v in tank pump is attached to a bar from the cover plate. I imagine you have the moldings in the tank though. So it should be fine.

I dare not ask but where was your wife? Outside the toilet block.......she doesn't need to know..... I've only just remembered what you were talking about....

Yup. It's internal, so you can't do anything with it. Before buying new ones, I'd just give the calipers a good going over and make sure they are free and the pads aren't sticking to the carriers.
-
Can you fit the VR radiator to the G60? Is there a bigger unit available for the VR?
-
Chances are, the handbrake mech in the rear calipers is knackered.

I was chasing Ben around this morning with my penis out. I guess that could put a lot of people off.

Took the VR to the rolling road day at Stealth the other day. I am a little disappointed with the figures, but it feels like it pulls hard, and I guess that's all that matters. Headline figures were: 192.9 BHP @ 6077 rpm @ the flywheel 149.9 BHP @ the wheels 182.5 lbft @ 4464 rpm. climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfDrawing 1.pdf[/attachment:3cdks0dw] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfDrawing 2.pdf[/attachment:3cdks0dw] In the mean time I've bought myself some early christmas presents. 12122009158.jpg[/attachment:3cdks0dw] I've been slowly building up more tools over the last year, and wanted somewhere for them to live :) In related news, I'll be moving to a new house with a large drive and garage in February. Anyone want a room to rent just outside Winchester?

So when do you think you might have it running again? 700 Euros is a fair old wedge, especially at the moment.
-
They look awesome. :) Really nice finish.

Could be a core plug in the block come loose or a leak from the head gasket. I don't think there are any hoses round there. You have got antifreeze in the coolant I assume?
-
Youve taken that too far.......... I've run my cars on a mix of tyres in the past. Only thing you need to be wary of is that there can be a discrepancy between the sizes of the tyres between manufacturers. I.e. not every 195/50 r15 tyre will actually be the same width.
