There is a hole in the bottom of the rear quarter to allow water out. It might be worth taking the inner door card off and checking that it's not blocked. Not easy to get at though, but a good opportunity to check for rust in that area....

Mine seem a bit too stiff, but, I think the damping has a lot to do with it.

I think the KWs are more comfortable than the Pi/Konis, they seem to take rough surfaces/potholes better.

Well, I had a go with a car on V1s (Scarlet_VR6s) We've both had new bushes all round, uprated rear ARBs, and hers felt so much better. Overall the car felt stiffer when pressing on the wing/rear quarter, but on the move, over bumps it felt far far more composed and smoother, a lot less crashy, and I felt far happier going into corners quicker. It's difficult to explain, to put how it feels into words, you really do need to try them out for yourself.

I have Pi springs and Konis, and would definitely take the V1s instead.

Cool. I don't know what to suggest really, I'd be a bit concerned about fiddling with the timing.

Are you sure your knob isn't for adjusting boost?

Are the leads on the right way round? The distributor is timed up alright? Might be worth getting a timing lamp to check.

They use Octavias around here.

How many miles are you supposed to retorque the bolts after? I flushed my engine, radiator and heater matrix and still have cloudy coolant after rebuilding my car.

I just got 3 done by the people who wait in supermarket carparks. Quite pleased with them so far.

The latest revision is G12++ I'd use the swap as a reason to flush the system completely.

It's just progress, a revision of a part.

There's 2 different rear calipers fitted to the corrado, an early one, like the mk2 golf, and a late, like the mk3. One has the external spring, the other doesn't. Lucas became Girling or vice versa.
