Yeah they have a bent section in them that needs to fit in a certain place. This is the rod from interior handle to latch I'm talking about

I've had trouble with knocking from the rear since putting mine back together. Did end up being the exhaust, hitting the axle and then the lip of the backbox hitting on the rear exhaust bracket. Still not got it right after about 4 attempts. When you compress the shock by hand, is it giving a fair bit of resistance and then returning to extended position on its own? The only other knocking I've had from rear was the rear speakers not probably fitted. I only just worked out the speaker screws into the parcel shelf support, someone must have snapped all those bits off mine years ago

I think you could also wind it through, i.e if backing it out proves hard you could try and wind it in and it should pop out the top. Try drilling into it, that may spin it.

I still want to buy a new rack, i get quite a bit of clonking/knocking if i am stationary and wiggle the steering wheel. I've read about tightening the rack but my steering already feels quite heavy at low speed. Thinking i might redo the front end bushes/rods and ball joints again as its been a good few years since i renewed it all. I seem to want new suspension as well

I thought engine side would be to the maf and air side to the air

Is the red cone inside the correct way round?

Nice job on that...

New mats and HDR studio photos and that's a £12k corrado

Its the sort of thing that puts me off, like people who just seem to walk outside and take a pic of their car at the side of the road or in a carpark and then that's the for sale photo. I actually think the price is fair and the car is nice.

Am sure i've seen one where the guy crashes off in a red corrado edit: found it Love the "schizer" as he gets out

Not sure what they cost, but i remember being told the wings from VW were about £300 each, so i would expect to pay a bit more than that.

Yeah, if they are the small ones, i ended up buying all the different sizes as was doing the fan wiring too. I bought duraseal branded ones, what i didn't use my mate had off me and then replaced them with some knock-off unbranded version from ebay and tbh they are just as good.

I wouldn't solder a loom, much better to use Duraseal connectors

I had to use quick-steel stuff on mine, looks a bit messy but i never see it.

HDR studio photos add at least 20%

A lot of money for a white non-leather model, i just don't like white ones (unless they are modified), i'd of thought it should have Silver VR6 badges front and rear.

I use a dremel with a brush wheel, they do a longer lasting one than the ones where the metal strands just vanish as soon as you touch something

I'd take the whole lot out of tailgate, and then the black bits split in two with little clips on the body of it.

I've fixed things with quiksteel in the past, sorted out my headlight adjuster with it

Stick em on ebay and get £80 for them. Be that man

Am pretty sure mine has always had a slight uneven/vibration at idle, only very slight and is fine as soon as you use the accelerator, i just assume thats how they are. Can feel it stopped at traffic lights. If you rev it quickly on/off it does a small pop
