Yeah the same as that. Was going to send it to be refurbished.
-
It does have a little metal tag on it, that i thought could mean something like that.

I've just bought a rack and told it came from a 95 VR. Mine is a 95 VR as well. Am sure my original rack had trw written on it, (might have been ZF, but can't remember) the new one says xtr usa on it, which my original didn't, i remember that much

Karmannski ones were about £100 Stick them on with a foam trim tape.

Try and give the relays a clean up. I think they can be opened up

The fuel hose is just an 8mm ID fuel hose, not much point getting it from VW, they will just be buying it in and overcharging for it. I'd like to say that will be causing the fault but i've had the same issue before (leaking fuel when cold and the struggle to start when hot) and replacing all the fuel lines didn't fix it. I am starting to wonder if its pump related as i've changed everything else.

Got a koni sport kit with H&R springs fitted at the moment. But stupidly did the front top nut up with the impact driver and stripped the threads on the shaft. Have found it quite firm with the konis and before i buy two new shocks i wondered about using bilstien b8's on the front as you can buy them individually. Or do i just stick with koni again, well be keeping them on the rear i think. Or just buy a whole suspension kit again. Had weitec shock and spring kit, kw v1 coil overs, pi springs with the weitec shocks, and now the koni/hr combo. Most have been quite harsh really and with the coilovers i was forever playing around with the height and worrying they weren't right, so got rid of them

I'll have one, can we order on the website?
-
Hmm. More to consider than i thought. The one i fitted says its for a vr6 golf synchro. Not sure why it would be longer. The same place is now listing one for corrado but looks exactly the same part too me, although could just be generic photo.

Good idea, going to look into that now, do you think old cereal box will do it? Might just get away with some washers
-
Going to replace my master again, i did fit one from an audi or similar and although it looks pretty much the same and works fine, i find the rod that connects to the clutch is too long, so my clutch sits really high and i had to adjust the brake to suit that, but the accelerator isn't adjustable so sits about 2 inches lower than the other two pedals

That's what i was going to do. The rear speakers just seem so small, even with decent front speakers i don't get any bass or midrange. Just sounds very flat and weak compared to my standard fiesta stereo
-
I did that and was disappointed with the rear speakers, have been considering fitting some 6x9's again

I've bought a spare, so hoping to send mine off next week or so. Just hope i don't get someone else's clonky one back
-
Think i still have both bits, will have a look tonight
-
Got a pic of the bit you mean? I might still have one you sold me
-
Shame its not donning some speedlines
-
2nd pics looks like the heated windscreen nozzles to me
-
You can fit a windscreen without those clips
-
Cheers Hasan, Looks a bit more involved than i thought, but i'm sure doing one step at a time its not as bad as it seems
-
Just thought about the white plastic headlight adjusters, that would be a good part to make
-
Is there a thread about doing the conversion. Managed to get the engine loom, an inlet with throttle body and a maf and ecu. Just hoping it's all correct stuff
-
What difference does it make? Bit more power?
