I've removed my alarm and fob locking, just fitted a Clifford sticker in its place  -
The passat one does fit but rubs on the bonnet. Must be millimeters clearance without it.

I'd like to look into alternate racks as well, seeing as the corrado one is hard to buy and expensive, I figure there's quite a bit of adjustment in the track rods etc
-
I thought they are all Teves02, i swear when i upgraded mine i found the original system wasn't plugged in properly

Might just be the pads wearing down and needing more fluid -
Does it come with a pulley or do you have to fit one?

Them seals are both for the oil cooler, one goes against the block, the square profiled one goes in the cap part -
I've bought some of this, but not got round to trying it yet. http://www.shoedoctorshop.co.uk/Klebfest+Shoe+Glue+60g/0_CAAA002/PRAA126.htm

I like dodo juice stuff these days, seem to be slowly using up my old products and replace them with dodo juice. Plus you can buy small pots of wax instead of a great big tub that lasts forever. Been using a dodo juice wax on my new car and its easy to apply and doesn't leave much mess. Seem to be there forever applying and removing collinite 915

I like a happy ending to a thread..

I looked into it once, but ended up just replacing it with a beru one and has been hassle free for years. Msd ones just seemed like more money, more work for not much benefit.

Help - VR6 cooing fans constantly on full speed
Jim Bowen replied to g0ldf1ng3r's topic in Engine Bay
I would say its the rad sensor, also the cheaper/easiest thing to try first, i heard the fan controllers can be hard to get hold of. My car has done about 230,000miles and the rad sensor has failed before, but still the original fan controller. Make sure you fit a new seal on the rad sensor, my leaked and had to remove it and refit, which means losing coolant. I don't even have a black sensor in the thermo-housing, i cut it off by mistake  -
If its made of metal it sits inside the steering wheel cowling, i think its meant to protect the wiring from people just smashing the plastic to gain access

Good work, i like to see them repaired instead of giving up. Had the same repair on mine bit i didn't replace that little lip bit, just left it off so dirt doesn't get trapped there.

I just use an O-ring from one of those big boxes you buy, about 300 o-rings for under £10. I do put a bit of the blue sealant on as well, but only on the flat areas of the elbow flange (i have the gruvenparts elbow, so can't remember how the plastic one looks from underneath).

You can muck up the alignment when removing the brackets as the holes are slotted. I managed to mark the position of them, although it will be quite obvious when refitting as there will be an outline left in the underseal etc I tried a rear ARB and didn't think much to it so removed it, just seems to add unnecessary weight imo. Car didn't really feel remarkably different and it ended up causing more hassle making sure its all fitted properly

My magnex was fine for about 8yrs, i took it off twice and fitted it and still ok, but this last time it kept knocking, taken me a few attempts to get it right. How does the bend sit where it passes over the rear beam? is it more or less central over the beam?, i found my system was too far back and need shunting up towards the front of car to fix it.

Love that pic on track, perfect angle. Corrado looking great.

They are usually mk3 golf items. Slightly bigger than the corrado one

I've seen people building props using that plumbers foil tape to make things look like metal, they wire wool it afterwards. not sure how practical that would be on a badge as its got a lot of curves. i might have an attempt at it.
