Get an audi S2 instead, i do have a love for them http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?28389-Corrado-VR6-VERS-Audi-S2!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Nah, i've never seen one of their cars about, nor heard anyone mention them. I drive out that way very often and still aren't sure where the workshop is. Must be a unit on a farm imo as there isn't much industry around that area.

No help, but HR Engineering are just up the road from me. Think they were selling a corrado shell converted to 4wd not long ago.
-
I may of misunderstood. I might have a spare bit that goes into the housing. Thought it was just the wire snapped which is common
-
I just soldered on a spade connector and heat shrink wrapped it. Works fine.
-
Horn doesn't work, apparently no wires from fuse box :-s

Same here. Think its my horns though as I soaked them in a bucket of rust remover. Bought some new ones but not got round to fitting them yet. -
Bet kev is putting the tin foil away now.

I have my powder one under the glove box. Then a larger foam one fixed in the boot.

I've never seen a lidl or aldi in real life. Do waitrose do them?
-
I'd take a pair.

This is the place i keep seem to be getting sent stuff from in the post http://www.evanscoolants.co.uk/ ---------- Post added at 3:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 3:17 PM ---------- Works out quite expensive as there seems to be a prep stage liquid you use first.

I haven't but been seriously considering it, i still might, the only thing that stopped me was my loss of coolant at the moment. Considering the cooling problems a vr6 has i assumed it would be the ideal candidate for it.
-
If you are cutting that area up, i could do with some to the left of the badge, say if the corrado script badge sat on the left hand side instead of right, it would be that area.
-
nah i was stalking you  Its definitely a totally different car to drive than a vr6 golf/corrado, i always remember when i had my corsa and nova you really had to stay high up the revs to get anywhere, which is partly the reason i wanted a large NA engine with some nice torque. I was also banned from the corsa club i used, i think vauxhall owners don't like the truth :D

I saw your thread on astra owners, looks loads better already, roof lining came out well. I would remove some trim to get rid of the smell, i bet behind steering column trim and around the gearstick will be a bit ashy. My bro did tell me he is sure its the tyres. Might be worth swapping rears wheels for the fronts to see if it makes any difference to the noise.

I am very cynical of things tbh

Had to get Big Jim round to undo the flywheel bolts  he is my impact driver... i was lifting myself off the ground trying to undo them.. Will be having a look at the chains over the weekend etc, wanted it all clean before i open anything up. The chains and tensioners on my engine were fitted about 6000miles ago so will pinch bits from that if needed.
-
Clutch looked ok, a bit worn but still useable, will be using mine though. Painted it black Sump isn't staying on, so not bothered cleaning that
-
Looks a bit of a ****ter to me which is a shame. I guess it must be down to the owners, but mines has 8 and done 201,000miles and looks better. Paint and wheels look neglected, leather looks like a gorilla has driven it. Can only think that "one family owned" was a travelling circus.

are you using Mr injector? i've tried ringing everyday for 3 days and never get an answer. Maybe he is more internet oriented, but i'm not too sure on what to add to cart etc
-
Advice needed:'Accident' in which my insurance seems to want to pay out?
Jim Bowen replied to fla's topic in Off-topic Chat
Is it just the sandwiches you have to pay for? -
Is it worth me getting some done just out of course? About to change my engine, new one came with injectors so i have two sets. Thinking i may as well, my originals have been in the car for over 200k and i have them off anyway
-
What is causing the fuse to blow? Is it when the spoiler moves up or down? Is quite a lot of wiring in the tailgate.
-
There's more than 5 holes. But think you are correct. Checked google and it shows one bolt is slightly off centre to the rest.

Does the flywheel have to go on in a certain way. Noticed the marks on it and also a little line on the engine casing. Taken flywheel off. But if I turn engine over now do I need to put flywheel back on first to keep the marks the same?
