not great, coming home in the dark lastnight and i was certain i could see my headlights flickering very slightly, not a constant flicker but one min a little dimmer, then after a while they would flick back to normal. then they just went off all together, turned them off and back on again with headlight switch and they came back on for about 5 secs then off again. Flicked switch off and on and they came back on, so quickly got home and left it. could this be an earth fault or the switch again? am getting to the point now where i'm seriously considering giving up with the car, Seems to have more problems and annoying bits then bits i enjoy now. :(

i have a mate like this, and its even worse as its not just the once you have to put up with it. he is an expert on everything yet can't or hasn't done any expertly that i've witnessed. Always buys the cheap alternative and tells me why i shouldn't buy more expensive stuff. i've been awaiting him to compare our cars, but i think deep down he knows mine is better

apart from standing launches and more grip for to put power down in bad weather, is it really worth while? just spend it all on the engine and drive with a bit more caution
-
i'd check the fluid level, top it up if need be, pump the clutch a few times, look for leaks

95ron, always have and find i get better MPG with it. also car is coming up to 200,000miles so can't of done it any harm

i sometimes take plastics out of car and just wash them with car shampoo and a sponge/brush, then some sonus cockpit detailer on them afterwards

Oh dear...some 'opinions' on the great car.
Jim Bowen replied to sprinterVR6's topic in General Car Chat
to be fair his comment is about the storm, no one has mentioned performance in that thread, and leather which you can get as an optional extra a bit of paint, worse rims and some badges isn't very exciting. i remember when i found out what the storm was and felt a bit disappointed. -
What featured/cover car Corrado can you remember!
Jim Bowen replied to Majik's topic in General Car Chat
none, never seen or read a feature about a corrado, but i have the pvw poster up at home of OSV's silver corrado, about the only car poster i have too  -
i suggested borbet but think i may be quite far off with that one  deffo seen them before
-
i say quick as i'm sure i've seen them on here before, but i can't think what they are
-
flol, i was watching the vid, then at 15seconds i thought that noise was the car starting up  thought you had a helicopter engine for a 2nd
-
i couldn't bring myself to loading up the corrado, i would be worried about marking anything :dorky:  plus i think my carp kit has expanded so much i doubt it would fit in now.
