you didnt have to force the cheesy grin you know - just cos its a diesel an' all ;)
-
aha, so you bought that one did you?! i was going to have it off him when he offered it on here for £500 but surprisingly after a few "you're mad" comments he decided to ebay it for a bit more ;) good luck with whatever your plans are - i'm sure its going to work out to be a nice car for you. if you do want to go Vortech then i heard a rumour that there might be one for sale sometime soon - if you're interested then just say and I'll mention it to them. and welcome to the forum!
-
ooh, will be interested to see how they look!!
-
i meant doing it reputably to a reasonable standard! although i guess if chinese rip-off brake pedal position sensors are all we can get then we will be beggars not choosers..
-
but the problem is they're not doing it Andy!
-
yes, sorry the link would have helped wouldn't it! :) viewtopic.php?f=13&t=90656

it depends if you're just after shocks/springs or coilovers. if its coilovers you want buying these is probably your best bet!
-
its already happening! viewtopic.php?f=15&t=91590&p=1056514&hilit=pedal+position+sensor#p1056514

oh ok :) someone was selling 2 numberplate surrounds the other day, dont know if they've gone yet..
-
does this mean there's a car to put these things on...?? :)
-
are all the wheels the same offset? have you tried another wheel on it? does seem very weird though..
-
have you checked for fault codes? the light on mine comes on every so often again for no particular reason, sometimes halfway down the road, sometimes after a bump, sometimes after I've driven it a bit enthusiastically.. i've been showing a brake pedal position sensor fault on VAGCom on and off for over a year now but it hasn't stopped the ABS working. as long as it doesn't go over 100mph on the MOT rollers i wouldnt worry too much ;)
-
not sure what to suggest apart from the fact that those temps are highish but not a disaster. before i put the extra oil cooler on i began getting the same as you - it would sit around 112 at 100mph and rise accordingly - and that was after changing the waterpump, thermostat and radiator. compared with yours before and with craigowl the new temps are obviously higher but as long as you change the oil regularly 110ish isn't a big issue though. i sympathise that its annoying though :(

:pale: sh*t, bad news mate.. -
know what you mean, i'm glad i wasn't the one having to try to stay out of their way!! its like they've invented a new class of rally track-days! :D
-
Yeah, Graeme got them as a special order recently - 8x17, 5x100. :)
-
i dont think you want to get involved in the complication of the export process then. just fill out the bits for a sale and potentially write a letter to the DVLA with all your and his details telling them what he's planning just to cover yourself. as long as you have the bit of the v5 you should as a seller they cant hold anything against you
-
hard to argue with that combination of signature photos... :salute:
-
You're not exporting it though are you? Surely he is? You're just selling it to him?
-
either that or they sell them in the shops at the ferry port, i guess it will be the same at the tunnel if thats the way you're going too.
-
yikes, thats a mission, good luck...
-
yep thats correct. a couple of years ago a non-light key was £20 and recoding the car and keys cost about £45 so make sure you do as many as you have and are going to buy in one go so you dont have to pay that again.
-
should we just call you Brian from now on then?! ;)
-
i think its probably around the 18/19k mark now
