Indeedy - looks like a balanced length inlet, presumably to be welded/fixed into a short runner. On the lower one - think Kev likes the colour scheme you get with welded stainless. :?

Whatever floats your boat! :D

So much easier with bumper & slam panel off though. Also provides the opportunity to de-rust everything up front and get plenty of Waxoyl in!
-
Nah then Ice That was a a good RR - good turnout and atmosphere, despite dropout rate of VRT's! I wondered if the jets normally produced high velocity, hence tendency to wear, followed by less effective direction onto the piston undersides, leading to crown overheating.

I think it's the car height that makes the difference?!
-
you really should though, and i enjoy my brakes as much as the power :D Indeed - apart from the feeling of security they give - big brakes certainly scare the s**t out of roundabout flower beds!

Is "snuffling round a Corrado" a Northamptonshire rural tradition then?

Could have sworn that car just winked at me ! :luvlove:

must admit i was thinking along the same lines which is why i asked in the first place its all a matter of letting air and fuel in to the cylinders My thoughts too - but when Vince did VAG-hag's back in May 2008 there were some noticeable jagged areas in the 3d plots that he does which were ironed out and resulted in a sublimely velvety smooth motor. It maybe that numbers-wise there was not a lot of difference, but driver-reward wise, to quote Kev, it was night/day. :D

Hey! If D&GA do it - I'm sure they will do it well! Regards A satisfied customer. :D

Not trying to be critical but I think a more specific request would get a hugely more focused response! Are we talking G60, Vortech, Rotrex or other here? G60 - I've heard Gwerks highly spoken of. Vortech - NS Racing are the importers and all refurbs are executed in US via NS. Rotrex - not heard of a commercial specialist but JoniVR6 up here in sunny Yorkshire has done his own refurb and may well point the way to economic advantage. Other - dunno! Hope this is helpful. :D

Hi Monkey Have just fitted my Raceland but canot answer your query as I have not yet run it. [see thread] I have however researched the CF and conclude that the bhp gain is limited depending on existing setup, possible low rev torque gain is possible. However I confirm, for sure, the audible experience gain [even on the standard VR] is outstanding, especially in tunnels! :D

Hi Mate, Butterfly's bloke here  if you have access to a power point where the car is parked up you should be getting yourself one of these. my battery is 7 years old and still seems good (ie not had a problem) http://www.airflow-uk.com/index.php?vie ... onditioner  We both use these on our summer toys and are dead easy to use too! if you plug it in that is (Cough!!! judith) can vouch for this bit of kit too - ideal for little used cars :D Ditto The Airflow battery conditioner is seriously good kit.

Hi Guys Finally got round to fitting my ready wrapped Raceland - purchased months ago from KADVR6 [cheers m8] Many thanks to Billcor who helped me source the connector/articulation joint plate via 2 UK companies who stopped stocking them but Kam Racing pointed me direct to an english speaking guy @ Raceland who was most helpful; details to follow. My big question : Is there a recommended orientation for the 2 spring loaded spherical joint clamp bolts? [NB This query is not targetted at the :camp: community! ] Agreed the lower manifold/headwashers & nuts are sods, especially the middle 2, but you can get your hand behind the manifold from the drivers side, though it is tight! Much easier with inlet/TB removed.

Would that be : 2 x driver's Lupos or 2 x passenger's or 1 of each? :?
-
Don't think it has launch control!

Nah! Vintage G12++ specially imported from the Fatherland! :D
-
I'm on the case!

Indeed - very droolable, but pricewise it's in 911 T territory, space/performance wise it's nearly in the RS6 arena. :?

Just had a most productive afternoon with Kip & Judith, leaving my unfortunate Corryn in severe disarray, many front end bits in need of refurb before re-assembly. Lots of s/s screws etc to get in. Gobsmacked as to how much better access you get with bumper and slam panel removal. Corryn's recovery & improvement well on-course. Photos to come. Watching Kip in action - Robo-mechanic! With senior operating nurse Judith in support! :notworthy:

 No. Fork knows how I ended up in this role. Getting more interesting though... :) Dare I ask : "Will all be revealed?"
