Just PM me your address buddy.
-
No not yet, it'll probably get done a day before MOT time!
-
Yes thank you I got them a while ago I think but never saw the parcel, thanks to the postman leaving it under a pot outside and not letting me know...kind of my fault though as we have no letter box at the moment. Thank you very much.

Well if you've got the relay etc there , you might want to use the vr6 SAI pump, operated by the ECU. Does it also have the EVAP leak detection pump fitted?
-
Just got mine trimmed in alcantara to match the headliner.
-
Hi Jamie, I got 2 of these very kindly donated by subcool but I only needed 1 , you can have one if you like?
-
Leak detection pump, unless SWICT have flashed your ECU with US code (which they did to mine) or your from the U.S. you shouldn't have this component. SAI - bin it, blank the hole and leave the relay in, or use it to work out the resistor you'll need. EVAP, wire up the ECU to the existing corrado one Edit Just read the last bit of your post asking about the vr6 Sai pump relay, UK cars didn't have them I think, where are you based?
-
Great choice of daily! Nice front door too.
-
I imagine that's exactly how it works because it's logic! But I think the ECU output trigger for the Sai relay has a load sensor on it, so if it's not operating correctly (or isn't there!) it throws a code. I just measured the current across the relay when it was pulled, worked out the resistance and wired it in right next to the ECU, it's tiny so easily hidden in the loom.

Sorry Steve, I should have specified, late style.
-
Thanks pal you live up to your forum name!
-
I don't necessarily need front seats Must be in very good condition. Later style.
-
I know it's a tiny item, but I've just lost mine when fixing a door rattle... Grr! Ps it's the little plastic collar that clips into the door card and finishes the hole that the door lock pin goes through.

Hi there, sorry not been on here a while! All the problems I was having were all ECU based (Thanks to SWICT balls up) and were all sorted with a new ECU which I sent of to Vince at Stealth who I highly recommend. Resistor works just fine, or as Kev says leave the relay in, it really makes no odds. The ECU looks as water temp and O2 readings. Hope you get it sorted pal, I'm using mine as a daily now and with just a few minor things left to sort out, the 24v really makes the car what you wish the 12v was!

Door pin surround? Ie the little black bezel that goes around the locking pin.

Corroletta?! Corrado/Golf/Jetta hybrid not as bad as it sounds!
KipVR replied to bristolbaron's topic in General Car Chat
It looks ok I think. However I'd be waay more impressed if they'd put the good bits of the later cars, like the suspension etc, and kept the classic corrado shape. Still, looks better than the new scirocco! -
Wow! What a truly nice car. I know you've put a lot of time into the car, but I bet if you hang on to it for a few years, it'll be worth a fortune in this condition.

Chris Langdon's Moonlight Blue VR6 thread!!!

Yeah me too! Cars looking good as always Chris. -
Thanks for your help Sean, the windscreen guys managed to glue it back on again without much problem which is good. 20vt thanks for the link buddy, but I've put my E46 one back on for now!
-
Thanks Sean that would be brilliant!
-
Thanks for the pics Sean, does the one series com without rain sensing wipers? I can remember looking into the options years ago and I went for the e46 one but I can't remember exactly why, but it might have been cause of the rain sensor.
-
It's well worth the effort Mic, just been out driving in it, and the lights are now fantastic. Managed to knock my rear view mirror off when working on the sunroof and it took a divot of the glass with it, going to go to a windscreen place and see if they can glue it back on tomorrow. Whilst I like having the alarm led and the auto dimming function, I find the e46 rmirror too big for the Corrado, so I'm going to try and find something a bit narrower, maybe the oval M3 one would be better.

Not when you can buy something ready made, waterproof etc, it's not worth the time and effort! Just bought one of these- http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=331000298042 Part no 4B0907503A
