  1. I take it nobody has tried this then?
  2. Nice pictures I had dreadful show season this year, hopefully next year will be promising for me.
  3. I am trying to fit a oil pressure gauge to my G60, but having some problems fitting the sender unit due to the lack of space. I know some people have fitted the sender unit, to the oil feed line of the charger, but I wanted to try and fit the sender on top of the oil filter to get the true oil pressure. So my question is can I swap the oil temperature sensor with the oil pressure sender on to top of the filter housing?
  4. Looks good, but definitely think it needs to be more oval.
  5. Part number for the mats are 863 VAG 141 8BJ
  6. Lovely car and at least the parts are easier to get hold of then the corrados.
  7. As said above already, oil feed line doesn't to cleaver and neither does the rocker cover gasket. As for the coolant it doesn't seem like it leaking from there, also the thermostat is on the bottom of the water pump, so try looking down there.
  8. Looks really nice, what is it lowered on.
  9. Have you fitted a CO pot yet? G60 running rich problems, seem to be quite common. So some searching on the net should help you out, as what to check. Or failing that, take it to an expert near you to help set it up properly. i.e. timming, idle, CO Pot etc...
  10. Looks like an FSE fuel pressure regulator, and no it's not standard
  11. Cool video, you daughter has got some good skills. Love the bits with the music and engine sound together, the VR sounds very bassey love it.
  12. When I cleaned mine out, I found it more the cables in the pipes causing it to stick then the actual motor. I'm surprised yours hasn't blown the 15A fuse, that's what use to blow on mine when it was sticking.
  13. What do you need to know? Its got 1 pipe coming from the charger outlet and the other going to the inlet manifold. I guess this is front mount interccoler, have you you got the U bend outlet for the charger and all the necessary pipe work to go with it?

    Dash Swap

Don't know much about engine conversions. But the standard intercooler in a G60, is just about enough for the standard car. So doubt it will much use with your conversion. You might be better looking for a late VR6 and doing the conversion on that. I think the brakes are the same, just that it will be 5x100 pcd for the wheels and not 4x100.

    Dash Swap

All G60's came with the early dash, that is why your having a nightmare finding one. I would have thought biggest challenge with the swap, would be swapping the heater controls. But then you would face the problems of having weak controls, as the later controls seem to have issues of there own. It might be easier to buy a late car and then drop a G60 engine in it, if that's what you want.
  16. Think it might be time to clean it out, if it hasn't been done. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=51125 You can test the motor once you have it apart
  17. you can get one from here, http://www.bar-tek-tuning.com/lshop,showdetail,21077,en,1402657793-21156,1138132527.1138132703,2160190,41,Tshowrub--1138132527.1138132703,.htm Or stick up wanted add
  18. Didn't realise the finish wasn't brilliant on the original item. I have tried making a template out of a piece card, but having difficulty shaping the corners to fit exact. If nothing turns up might look at it again.
  19. Why not just try and get hold of any grill badge for now, just to try out? I might have a GTI badge from golf Mk3 you could try out.
  20. I am after a gauge panel for the early Corrado's that fits in the centre console. I believe these might have been extra option back in the day. If anyone has one please get in touch.
  21. Rub it down and maybe spray it with some plastidip paint.
  22. Go for them Mike, I'm in two minds weather to mod or not.
  23. If you are on about the rear lights here 'All red inners=20 All red rears outers=40' I would like picture of them, to see the quality and condition of them please.
