  1. This is an excellent guide for cleaning leather, and it works a treat. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=29697
  2. Great work karmannski I look forward to seeing the final out come of these.
  3. Here is a good guide to complement this one, http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4107 And a video how to remove the tension, so you can slip the belt off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpuk4IY0Urg
  4. Yeah that's the sensors in the picture. The yellow wire is for the oil pressure light on my G60, not sure if it would be the same wire on the 16V. If the other wire is green/black that's for the oil temp for the mfa
  5. Okay, that sounds like the stalk is not working. That would be my next step to look at. By the way, is the high beam working on the headlight?
  6. Using a meter and checking the voltage on the two pins where the bulb goes, what voltage reading are you getting when you pull the stalk up? And is it reading 0v when the stalk is not been pulled?
  7. Not sure what symptoms it wi cause, but it connects to the bonnet. You should see a bolt with the rest of it.
  8. Have you put the bulb the right way round, I'm sure they are LEDs. Try removing the LED cluster, and use a multimeter to check there is voltage on the 2 pins.
  9. Not sure what the demand on these would be, as most people just remove them all together in favour for more cold air to the intake. I'm sure I could put some instruction together if anyone wants one. But its not difficult, as long as you are comfortable using a hacksaw. This is the video where I got the idea, for the refreshing of the charcoal. Or you could just replace the charcoal itself, if you didn't want to refresh it. With what they use in aquarium filters, like the link bellow. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fluval-Activated-carbon-900g-FREE-FILTER-BAG-BIG-VALUE-/270782810490
  10. Thanks fla, I could probably machine more of the CC end caps for £25 with 4 machine screws and 4 self tapping screws. So you could either tap and fit, or drill small pilot holes and fit. In fact I could probably machine any parts that I have already made, so just let me know.
  11. If you don't have a boost gauge, check what what boost reading you are getting in the hidden MFA features. This should give you a good indication of the supercharger.
  12. Been trying to get hold of the gauge holder for the centre console for awhile, but couldn't get hold of one. So decided I would try and make one as close as I can to the original one, but with out any screw holes. Wanted it to be a tight press fit, so that I could take it out if I didn't like it. After making various templates in card and then MDF and tons of faffing about. I had good enough template to make the final one out of perspex, and covered it in some black by vinyl to match it all in. So the fit looked good. It was now a case to start the wiring for the lights, and the oil pressure gauge A small molex connecter was fitted, for easy removal. All plumbed in The original dashboard gauges didn't match the new boost and oil pressure gauge. So these were replaced with some VR ones instead. From this To this The speedo bulb was out in the last picture that's been fixed now
  13. Thanks fla, that worked a treat Probably one of the easiest mods I've done
  14. Is that possible?, as that would be ideal.
  15. Was trying to keep it all OEM and make it match up with gauges I have fitted in the centre console. To much work in changing the colour of the illumination itself, as I would have to do all the switches etc. Oh well, at least I only spent a £10 on the VR6 clocks.
  16. Is it possible to swap my white dashboard needles to the red ones, that come in the VR6? Also would be possible to swap the rev counters over, for the VR6 one. This is for my G60
  17. You might find some info in here as well. http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10288
  18. Do you have heat from the heater, when its getting up to temp? Are the radiator fans kicking in at speed 1 when it gets above 90C? and then to speed 2 when it gets higher? Do the fans stay running when you switch the car off?
  19. Good work Dragon, its definitely the way to go. Just hope the quality of work is good, looking forward to the feedback.
  20. The black is one for the dash, and the blue is for the ECU.
  21. I think the postage cost is a standard charge, for small items. Loads of other company's out there have similar postage cost. It's probably because penny orders are to much work to process for the profit returned. I just try to get an order over £35 to qualify for the free delivery, by adding service items. As you always need them
  22. This image of the throttle body might help, in this post http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?p=108799
  23. Can't help with anything, sorry. But keep at it, just think of joys when it's all working.
