  1. SKF wheel bearing part number VKBA529, these are for G60 but think they are all the same for the corrado with rear discs. You can get these off ebay, just find a reputable seller.
  2. Those of you that have changed your standard brake hoses to braided ones, did your front hoses come with all the mounting on them. Like the 2 rubber rings that go round them and the 1 that clips it to the shock absorber?
  3. Cheers Jim, managed to get the bolts on by pushing the bar down a bit with a lever. I've read somewhere that I should torque them up once its on the ground and after you bounce the suspension a few times.
  4. Do I need to have the car on the ground to fit the new drop links? As its currently on axle stands and I am having great difficulty trying to get the nut on the link where it goes through the arm.
  5. Yes that's fantastic just what I needed, been looking all day on the net for a picture. Thanks a lot for your help
  6. Need help in knowing which the way the anti roll bar links are meant to go. Forgot to make a note in which way the old ones were. They are slightly offsets from the stud part. This is for a G60, so different to the VR6 A picture would be fantastic
  7. That injector loom looks terrible, I best go and check mine. Even though it's on my list with getting the injectors serviced at some point. It's always better when things start to go back on, keep up the good work.
  8. Hi could I use this to replace the factory silencer? I know I will need some extra pipe work and clips.
  9. Price rise or no price rise, at least our beloved coupe got mentioned. :-)
  10. Just tell me where I need to pay.
  11. Dave, I still want one if you one going spare. Yes you did miss me out, lol. But when ever your ready is fine.
  12. Thanks for the comments Mick Mine is totally stock at the moment engine wise, but I keep thinking of getting a chip and pulley mod. Just want to get the mechanicals up to scratch first. I did manage to get all 3 engine mounts changed, went for the Meyle ones as I couldn't get hold of the OEM ones. My front was and gearbox was shot, with bolt just wobbling inside of it. Before I had the changed the mounts, I had to wait for the engine to come back down to change gear. LOL I have got the W6DPO plugs in garage, with all the rest of the service gear. But the car is off the road at the moment, so no point in fitting them just yet. Get some pictures up of yours Mick.
  13. If parts are looking difficult to source new, i think the next step would be to look at having the parts refurbished like you have to do for many classic parts. The company bellow is one I just picked from google, but there are probably others. Maybe try giving them a call and see if they can help you out. http://www.jlspares.co.uk/further.htm If there is one thing us British are good at, it has to be our engineering skills.
  14. Does the rigid front brake pipes go through a rubber type hose thing in the wing on the VR6? The reason I ask Is I wanted to buy the brake pipes from the seller on this forum, who can supply them already pre shaped with the fittings included. But I just cant see the rubber grommet on them, in his pics. Just thought I might get a faster response, by asking someone on here.
  15. So finally got the under bonnet heat shield that I bought from the group buy last year. It looks a lot a better and I can now work in the engine bay, with out dropping bits of the old sponge. Since weather has improved a little, I thought it was about time I started getting all the rear brakes overhauled. I had been collecting the parts, to try and make sure I had everything. But even then it took over 3 weeks, doing a few hours here and there as there was no actual urgency. So after getting the old discs and callipers off it was looking like this. I thought I would just paint the dust shields to make them look a little nicer, but I wasn't really happy with it. So thought it would be better to strip it all down, and give it all a really good clean, and get the dust shields powder coated to give them a new lease of life. Also took the ABS sensors out and gave them a good clean, and refitted with some new SS bolts and plenty of copper slip. Just in case I need to take them out any time soon. Dust shields back from the powder coaters, not bad for a tenner. All fitted up ready for the new disc and MK4 callipers. Since I had painted the rear callipers red, I wanted to do the front callipers again, but also do a full rebuild on them and have them powder coated. Only problem is the hard brake line, is not letting go of the flexi hose so might have to cut this off. So this now on hold and soaking with plenty of plus gas. I also had to replace the anti roll bar link bushes, as it was an advisory on last years MOT. I had already purchased some poly bushes, so thought I would tackle this whilst I think about the brake lines. Thinking should be a nice and easy job to tick of the list. But this happened on both sides, Not sure if it was just old and the metal had gone brittle, and that's why it had just snapped. But at least its off now, so I need to source some new ones. All the ones I can find, seem to come with all the bushes already with them. So I am not sure if I should just take the new bushes out and fit the the poly ones instead? Any advice would be appreciated regarding this.

    G60 chip

Don't know what chip it is, but its just a EEPROM so it can be re-programmed if needed and you have hardware to write to it. I don't think the chip you have is a stock chip, as I would have though that have some kind of marking on it. If you are having running problems, you might be listing what mods you have on the car. So that some of the experts can try and help you out. Before you just go out and get a new chip or the current one re programmed.
  19. Is anyone having issues with this forum using tap talk on there phone
  20. Nice one Sean, will give it a go tonight.
  21. Hi All, Are the rear brake carriers left/right handed, as I can't see any difference in them at all? I do remember seeing post before, about the guide pins and which way they are meant to go but cant find it any more. Also I am fitting new MK4 callipers as well, do I need to pre-bleed them before fitting or anything? I will be using a pressure bleeding kit to do the bleeding. P.S. Sorry if its been posted before, but couldn't find anything
  22. I would say T's just for a better quality wheel.
