Corrado VR6 Storm value....????? Advice needed please guys..
delfinis38 replied to stu37's topic in General Car Chat
You may be have a leg pulling moment... however I looked at a storm in 1997 / 1998 in green with 25K on the clock, phoned the dealers to check the service history and it was last serviced 2 month prior with 72K on the clock. I never bought it.... so there is a least one storm in green about that's been clocked. -
Look at mine here for example of standard ride height. Mines a feb 1996 vr6 1 owner. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=80990&highlight=Delfinis38

Just changed my gearbox oil and done a bit of waxoyl under the front valance and spotted this rusty pipe (just greased the rusty end).... but where does the other end go to. not wanting to take the battery out at the moment but it disappears underneath. rusty end just above the oil filter pipe disappearing under battery... it's the one with big tyre valve cap on it.

Does anyone know the correct spec for gearbox oil on a manual box on a vr. Nothing in the owners manual. I know lots use the redline mt90 which is fully synth 75w90, castrol website suggest the same spec castrol syntrans 75w90. However opie oils suggest 80w. Anyone used the Castro syntrans stuff. Not sure what to use...

If it's one of daves kits and includes all of the driver and passenger side parts and fit's a late VR6 and you have the fitting instructions. I will take it. -
Looking good...

Winters getting closer so I've decided to get an upgrade on the headlights. Okay so it could be an awkward question, as the people who make them sell on here and ebay. they all look nice to me but Who's loom is best from a manufacturing and safety Point of view. Send me a private mail if you don't want to comit to this thread. Don't really understand electrics hence the question Thanks for any info

Is one of those looms for the stereo ??? I thinking Wiring loom 536 971 282 AD but could be wrong as it has the brown plug which looks like the speaker wires go into (pairs of white purple green and another colour that escapes me ) also does it have the power to the stereo ???? if it's correct and not butchered how much posted. ps nice layout thread.

they never made enough corrados to warrant a Haynes... however I used to use the golf / vento / Passat Haynes which had some useful bits in but it certainly is not complete

just buy a copy from amazon £70 delivered.... it's worth it the expense if you intend to do your own tinkering.
