Hi all, My 2.0 16v decided to spring an oil leak today, its coming from the sensor on top of the oil cooler......the one at the back as you look down on it(white)........is this the oil pressure switch?.....or the oil temp switch?.......a part number of the offending item would be great too :D ........only burst as it looked like it was getting sold today! typical

On the inside you'll need to remove the doorcard(to unplug the 2 plugs) and the plastic triangle trim at the mirror(so you can pull the wires/plugs through) On the outside fold the mirror in(facing the car) and remove the screw......then put the mirror back into the original position.....then fold the mirror the other way(facing away from car)......remove the second screw and its job done..... :D
-
Your welcome to come and try the one from mine.......its off the road just now as i'm not insured.....and its possibly sold come sunday.....so you'll need to get there before that........might have an old one lying about as well? :D

VR6 dies after going over a pothole....STILL DOING IT!
easypops replied to easypops's topic in Engine Bay
Yes i did joe, thanks for asking :D I decided to get the factory alarm and the clifford immobiliser removed.....and get a TOAD AI606 fitted(had one before and no hassles) Guy came and got into it.......removed all the old stuff.......i told him whats been happening so he had a quick look about and discovered that the transponder had been replaced at some point(old wire still there)......nothing else amiss though.......the only thing was that there was a bit of play in the key when it was in the ignition.....that coupled with my hugely oversized bunch of keys is what probably was the cause (pulling down on the ignition key when i went over a bump)........lets just say that it has been fine since, whether its the fact that the alarm is new or that i only have one key on it? Either way all is well......really love the noise btw :D Did you get your new car yet? Martin -
 ....I changed headunits last week and promptly lost the spoiler function......quick search and i sorted it out.......the wire is blue/grey btw :D I was expecting this thread to be about a break in ?
