Ok.....the clicking noise seems to be coming from the slave cylinder,or very very close to it........the newly fitted one.......but was also coming from the old one........tried bleeding from the smaller bleed nipple, under the resevoir but almost nothing came out?.........i tried pumping the peddle with the system closed but its not building up any pressure? any ideas would be great at this stage :shrug: Cheers Martin

Also meant to say that 1st and reverse were almost impossible to get into?

Cheers Wullie, I'll have a look then.......i have read that there is a 2nd bleed nipple on the master cylinder......but knowing zero about these things makes even the smallest/easiest jobs daunting. I guess i'm correct in thinking that if i have to replace the master cylinder then there isn't anything else left in the system then? ie. pedal, master,slave and pipes is what will make up the system?

Hi all, My clutch pedal started to get stuck halfway back up(last night)...then it springs back to the original position........getting into gear was difficult too. Got in this morning and the problem was the same.....and getting worse........ The biting point is on the floor........and it started making a bad clicking noise......which goes away as soon as you depress the clutch pedal even a wee bit. So had a look and there was a small amount of fluid under the slave clyinder........went to gsf and got a new one......fitted it and did the bleeding thing(although not sure correctly).......but the clicking and the jumpy pedal thing remains? Any ideas?.......I have looked in the search and all fingers point to the slave , an airlock or the master cylinder ? Have i just not bled it correctly?......or is it something else? Spotted an M plate White VR6 on woodlands road yesterday about 2pm ish.........turning right up towards park circus :D

I love the noise mate.......its a buzz every time you put the boot down :nuts: ......paid on friday too, so looking forward to stopping as well :lol: I'm syre the RX is good in its own way too :D

Hi all, My 2.0 16v decided to spring an oil leak today, its coming from the sensor on top of the oil cooler......the one at the back as you look down on it(white)........is this the oil pressure switch?.....or the oil temp switch?.......a part number of the offending item would be great too :D ........only burst as it looked like it was getting sold today! typical :lol:

On the inside you'll need to remove the doorcard(to unplug the 2 plugs) and the plastic triangle trim at the mirror(so you can pull the wires/plugs through) On the outside fold the mirror in(facing the car) and remove the screw......then put the mirror back into the original position.....then fold the mirror the other way(facing away from car)......remove the second screw and its job done..... :D

Your welcome to come and try the one from mine.......its off the road just now as i'm not insured.....and its possibly sold come sunday.....so you'll need to get there before that........might have an old one lying about as well? :D

Have had 36ish from the vr6.......but have had better from the 2.0 16v......i was really trying though........about 15 miles at 60mph as far as i remember

I always have found that its difficult to get a quote for a corrado without a cat1 alarm.......had a TOAD AI606 fitted to both......about £250ish........haggle that much off the seller and get one fitted :D Oh and welcome to the madhouse :lol:

But if it has a good late passenger fog light.....1st dibs :wave: ......hate to see them broken but if they help others live on :D

I only planned on taking the drivers seat out to put the plug back in but its such an easy job i decided to get all the seats out :D .....and yes i did remember to plug them in Joe 8) :clap:
