How are the wings? Rust free? Also, the front brake lines? Actual pipes? Or hoses? If hoses, which make?
-
As long as you walked away ok, that's the main thing

I was gonna say yes but it's the thinner stuff I guess? If so I'll pass as I have a set of that already:)

Will do mate as it's not really a one man job, more like a 2 man, 1 jack, lots of swearing, and a good couple of cups of tea
-
Not yet mate, but it's happening soon-ish :)
-
Time has been short recently, but got a wee while today, started cleaning out the interior of the red VR6, and fitted the recently powdercoated eibach arb onto the subframe, oh and popped on 2 new engine mounts as well, hopefully I'll get it on soon :) Subframe

Are the radiator supports 16v/G60 specific? Or would it fit a VR6? If it would I'd be very interested in the better one :) I'm not in just now so can't check etka or similar but will try to find out if you are not sure -
For ease of access I'd take the front end off, it won't take you too long. Just support the engine as you'll need to remove the bumper. Take your time, bag and tag any bolt you take off, take pictures to remind yourself how it goes back together. As for the crack pipe, you may well need to clean the block where it goes in as it tends to be a bit rusty/bunged up with old coolant/mess. If you don't get it clean the new O ring won't seat correctly and will leak. Also you might need a new thermostat housing(the other end of said pipe, as everything will be brittle sadly. There is never just one job

Whats the weirdest thing you've carried in your 'rado?
easypops replied to eugopnosaj's topic in General Car Chat
I've had a washing machine in mine once, and I once got a bath in my old nova sr  -
A friend who has recently decided that he is no longer getting another Corrado, and decided to sell off all his bits. I'm fortunate that I got first choice at all the goodies. Cheers Diarmaid:) No doubt he'll eventually come to his senses:lol:

Must've been my phone, I see it didn't meet the reserve anyway
-
Looks like he pulled the ad with about 30 seconds left, bidding was at £5865 I think with the reserve not met
-
Ha ha, will do mate, there is a queue forming already
-
Ends in 4 mins, you bidding?
-
So did you buy? Or just try? :)

No mate, they were stored away in a garage for years, I can only think that dampness has played a part but the metal bits show no signs of rust/oxidation? The bit the graphics go onto is actually a bit of glass about 5mm in depth.
