Could it have been broken when you took it out the box? If so I'm sure you could send it/take it back? -
My boy is now 16months, I have him up front with me........it's a maxi cosi, something or other.........it does fit in the back but it's way too much hassle, especially when it's easy enough using the front. He enjoys it better there too :)

I put 2 on it, one around the whole lot, including the plug, so it keeps it in place, then one across that to keep it in place, sort of a + shape........i may try the screw again at some point.........then again, probably not
-
I zip tied mine too, just couldn't get that wee screw back in lol On a plus note, starting is much better, feels like more power is now getting to the starter

Thanks mate, thought I'd seen it somewhere, but would never have found it. And it started with the wiring fix..........so new ignition switch time. Did I read somewhere that a Polo switch is the one to use? ---------- Post added at 8:29 AM ---------- Previous post was at 8:19 AM ---------- Oops, the answer is in the wiki, part no as well :)

Hi all, My car has decided to not start! It's done it a few times recently, but has always started after a few attempts. Even as I write this I know that's the classic symptoms if a failed ignition switch. But I want to get it going tonight. I have bypassed other ignitions before, but its been a while, and was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to PM me hotwireing instructions (pretty please) Cheers Martin Either that or it's trial and error
-
Good to see you back........they always come back
-
Welcome along mate.......once you get that one fixed you can move onto the VR6 :afro:
