  5. Yup, ham wins every poll
  6. What engine is it? Only asking as i thought that's what was up with mine, turned out to be a broken clutch fork, which has happened to a few people on here..............mine is a VR6 btw
  7. I've got the stuff to do the chains/guides(although I'm fairly sure they have been done at some point) as I want to replace the rear crank seal. Also got the stuff to do the OBD2 conversion. Uprated headlight loom. Fix the abs or possibly try fitting the improved system from the golf breaker I have. All fairly straightforward for someone with the relevant skills/knowledge. Which isn't me  Oh and grease up all the callipers as that was mentioned at last MOT :)
  8. Got mine today as well, many thanks to all involved. Had a wee scan through and like the look of the camber adjustment instructions as its one of the things i'm going to try
  9. I can't help with any of the electrical info, but i do have a mk3 vr6 breaker which should still have the starter on it, which your welcome to if it'll come off ok?
  10. Happened to me on a car years ago, main earth had broken, thats what the AA guy said anyway
  11. A couple of pics of the switches, the Corrado one has a rectangle outer case, the Sharan one is rounded . Plug at the back is identical. I replaced mine as the black plastic started peeling away on the passenger side,i glued it but it was very messy,as you can see.
  12. The switches are the same on some older models of Sharan, although they have a different outer casing, but the internals are almost identical, the wheels turn the opposite way but work perfectly. I swapped the internals of mine recently 8)
  13. Mine arrived today, looks great, many thanks for taking the time to sort it out :)
  14. Pulled up at a shop the other night, and had to reverse in, while trying to avoid a gent getting into his very clean , new beetle. He was staring at me a bit, so I got out the car wondering if he had something to say? Which was "That's a lovely sounding engine in a very nice car, don't see many about, do you? " Had a wee chat and went on my way
  15. I'll take these please, posted to sunny Glasgow, also looking for the window scraper seal, exterior on the drivers door, IF you can remove it and post it without bending it :) , best put in a poster tube or similar :) Cheers Martin
