Go for 8 x 16in Compomotive TH mono's that are on ebay right now. I always wanted to put them on my old silver 16v.
-
Get one set done professionally and keep them then do the other set yourself for about £30 then punt them. Ive done it a few times and its suprisingly easy to get a good finish.
-
One of my favourite wheels. Never new they were making new ones. They will look great.
-
Thats a Jaguar by the way. Porsche looks like a 996 GT2.
-
Golfs, 25mpg town max. Motorway's 30mpg 90% of the time.
-
Bought a flat and have a trip to the Italian Motogp this summer so I needed the money plus its cheaper on fuel and insurance.
-
New car, picked up this week. Not as fast or refined as the Highline but better engine than my old 9a Corrado.
-
How many gearchanges were involved, were they all RR'd to see if they were running right, new clutches... theres soo many variables to these tests and whats the point anyway. Half off them are geared for town driving anyway, why not do 0-100 etc.
-
Youre not the Tom B that bought my old 16v then?
-
Nice, is the 16v still alive and kicking?

Utter sh*te film!! Full metal rips offs right from the go (even uses the same dialogue). Hoooya and that branding crap just gets me pissed off. If that is is close to real life septic marines then they are even thicker than i thought. Ive heard from 1st hand accounts that from a soldiering standpoint the USMC in general are not any greater than our regular infantry. Thats me done!

Thats what Im talking about. Rear wheel drive an all. Busa engine is mighty strong and is easlily turbo'd, s/c'd.
-
Rather have a Minibusa!!
-
What did you use for this? Nitromors? And how long did it take per wheel? Cheers Yeah, Nitromors. Just put it on leave for a couple of mins then use and old credit card to scrape it off. Its fairly easy. If you have no blemishes then rims are already nice and shiney but I rubbed my down with fine wet & dry then a few a goes with Autosol to give it a "brushed" look. You have to Autosol them every week though.

Had both and the G60 is a strange sounding beastie which you learn to like probably because its little bit different to the normal. Still think the best Mk2 is the G60. VR is instantly more likeable though.

Have a look here halfway down http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... c&start=15 I took the tyres off, stripped the laquer of the rims then lightly sanded the wheels before using aerosol cans to spray the centres. All in it cost £30 and looked good.

There bloody easy to split, whats the problem between 2 and 3 piece? You have to seal both kinds.

To many people dont have a fecking clue how to drive in the snow nowadays. You guys must be having some amazingly bad weather. We have had a load of snow in the last day or two with back roads fully covered but I have yet to see a car off the road or anyone in trouble. (sods law guess what will happen to me now) My brother lives in Poole and he said that when ever there is snow down there the locals are pathetically bad at coping with the conditions. We should all have to do some sort of training when we take our test.

My old car chrimbo eve last year.
-
Nice, those wheels would look great on my car. I would try the colour coded centres.
-
Aubergine 3dr Mk2 G60 Syncro.
-
I think they are called Westwoods. £150 tops with tyres.
-
They are just showing all thier past and present significant machines although they seem to have a fecking Goldwing and no Blade.
-
Amazing BUT I am so pissed off they didnt do a comparison test or take it on the track. We all know its amazingly fast but you need to see it compared to something like a 911 Turbo to appreciate the speed AND Ive heard better.

Nice, 4motion wheels as well. Fancy a set of them does I.
