  1. There's an Allen key adjustment screw down there. It's just a cap to stop water ingress I suppose Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  2. It's air/fuel mix adjustment, do not mess with it unless you know what your doing! I speak from experience Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  3. It will make it Phil! I've got a full vr6 engine and loads of spares, we'll tow it if needs be! Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  4. The fish finger sandwich place was absolutely outstanding! Pure genius! And the burrito's were fantastic. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  5. I've got a revotec which strangely is actually a comex. Cheaper than spal, can't remember exactly flow rate but from memory it was about the same. Got mine from Burton power Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  6. Cheeky eBay bargain! And one hell of a bargain they were Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  7. Gave the old girl a clean, and bought her a present... Just need to make some brackets up! Hoping I can squeeze them on 312mm discs I have Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  8. I'm hoping for a bit of impartial advice, I've got an old boiler that has been close to death for a while, had to run it on low over winter otherwise it squeals away merrily, well the other day it started making banging noises like extreme pipe expanding noises so decided that was the end of it. Now looking at replacement boiler, it's a gravity fed system at the moment and trying to decide whether to go for a combi or stick with this system. It's a 1987 house, decent size with only 2 of us living here but obviously have to think of the future. Water pressure has never been great but we have a shower pump which is awesome and definitely don't want to go back to crappy low pressure shower. Any advice? Combi or stick with gravity? Or other Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  9. Bit of a boring update, will get some pics soon! Got more parts delivered so hopefully be fitting them when I get a chance. But here's my exciting update (boring to everyone else), hacked the canbus and now have a digital tacho! Still needs tweaking, it's a bit glitchy and I haven't set limits but it's getting there. Next step is to connect up to corrado tacho and try output to get needle working! I still can't figure out how to post videos directly so unfortunately here's a link http://s6.photobucket.com/user/swiftkid/media/20160715_203743_1_zpsnoxoocfj.mp4.html Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  10. 312's don't fit under standard speedlines, thats 100%. 288's are tight but fit nicely as I ran them, I don't think theres bucket loads of difference between the calipers. What wheels do you have?
  11. Oops, that didn't make a lot of sense, edited it now. I meant cam chain stretch, measuring blocks 208 and 209. As to your question neither, the mot regs state that if it is between 1992 and 1995 (cat changeover period) the car will be tested as needing a cat providing it is on their database, which a corrado vr6 is... But a corrado r32 is not, so I get non cat test. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  12. Emissions are a proper frustration for me as it's something I can't fix then retest, I don't know anyone with an emissions tester. I had thought I'd sorted it last year but seems sadly not. Got a couple of things to try but I will sort it. It is non standard but it's constant diy development and I try my hardest to get things running as oem as I can, just takes time as I'm no mechanic! 13. Well another year, another MOT! Not bad, had to tighten the rear wheel bearings up a fraction and show them where my VIN number was as its not covered under the SWG cover. Unfortunately its still over on emissions, scanned it and remembered the figure for chain stretch was quite high last time I checked. People reckon -8 is on the ragged edge, mine is -9... absolutely wonderful :pale: Other than that done a few miles in it and its been running quite well, got decent mpg out of it as well! Couple of issues to sort, aside from the emissions and chains, pedal has cut out a couple of times whilst driving so going to nip to scrapyard and get a replacement. Been stockpiling bushes to replace, had planned to pull it apart this winter but might be sooner than I think
  14. I can't quite see from the photo's but is that a late spec (hump type) bonnet will? Looks like you've got a full late spec front end which will fit fine. I'll eat my words if thats an early bonnet as that looks fine! I have seen a few corrado's with early spec wings on late spec cars, in fact I've seen a few with both an early and late spec wing and in the flesh it is noticeable as I said, suppose it might just be that they weren't fitted right as you say will
  15. The most noticeable part is the bonnet gap, everything else will fit but you can spot the bonnet gap a mile off Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  16. Happy to take 4, but if someone needs them I'd be fine to take 2 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  17. What are you doing with the old sensor if you don't mind me asking? If your throwing it away mind if I take it, mines playing up but don't really want to cut it apart as its still working.
  18. I think coxylaad's car will always be a favourite of mine, R32 engine, full haldex running gear and full MK4 interior/wiring installation. Sean_jaymo's cars always impress me, he has a knack of not spending thousands but finding those lovely touches that just improve and update the car. I've built mine for me so not to peoples tastes, as much as I respect the care people take to keep a corrado in concourse condition they do absolutely zero for me, corrado at standard height just does not look good.
  19. By the sounds of it the corrado camp will be taking over the campsite! You in VIP section again phil or are you slumming it?
  20. Second one, 6 or 7 years now and 40k I think. First one didn't last quite as long, that was horrendously unreliable so much so I said I'd never buy another...
  21. Durrrr... Forgot to read first post again. Yea, go on eBay and search golf gti caliper and have a look through. Found a few calipers but that looked decent condition Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  22. Not sure but think you mean the brake position sensor as opposed to the brake pedal sensor fuzz posted? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  23. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182152536862 This any good? Quick search in eBay, nothing to do with me. Personally I'd just go for 288mm upgrade as you could probably get a full set for cheap these days Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  24. And they're gone :( Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  25. Vr6 caliper, early mk3 vr6 and gti (5 stud without the retaining clip) will be the same. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
