Looks spot on that, guess that's another thing on my list to do. Don't like the finish on my swg. Water tends to lay on the top and leave water marks as well

You can do a couple of relatively cheap mods but power gains are not great n/a. If you are looking for decent power I'd look at 4motion engines, they come with baffled sumps, can remap to around 140bhp and have 24v for extra low down power where the 12v has a bit of lag and are becoming very cheap! Obd2 conversion helps the power curve low down on a vr6 or you can look towards schrick/vsr manifolds for the variable inlet. If you really did want to tune a vr I've seen figures of about 220bhp on a healthy engine with Cams and remap

If they aren't expensive and you want peace of mind you might as well, it's not going to hurt.

It's that little switch on the throttle body where the butterfly rests, plug is underneath the throttle body. I found on my kr the wires corroded

Trimsport VW Corrado Carbon Fibre Rear Number Plate Holder
swiftkid replied to G60MAT's topic in Suppliers Forum
Ooh, interesting... I need the number plate light cover. -
I've had my manifold off and on loads and never changed gasket, never had any problems! I tend to replace most things that are advised but the exhaust gaskets seem to last forever!
-
I used mk5 r32 manifold, bit of pipe I had kicking about and vr downpipe. Picture in my build thread. Mk4/tt manifolds point downwards, mk5/a3 are more like the vr. United motorsport one doesn't fit mk5 type
-
I have heard this as well, don't know of anyone doing off the shelf manifolds but I've been quoted £225 from a place near grimsby for a custom one. I've bodged one together myself for the time being just to get it through MOT then I'll be heading there to get a nice shiny one made. I'll have a word to see if he fancies making a jig for others but won't be for a while (April time)

Yea you can check what they have in stock on their website. Got everything I needed for mk4 shifter mod for 20quid the other day.
-
Been a few in recently, I got the heater controls off 1, might even have been that one. Where abouts are you from? Love upullit, get some absolute bargains from there!
-
When's the eta? Coming to bug jam this year? Be like the good old days!
-
Speak to Redborbet aka Matt, not sure if he's sold his yet but there were up for sale not long ago
-
No, it's the last piece in the mk4 shifter mod jigsaw puzzle. I've got everything except that so need to go grab one when I get chance
-
I'll be grabbing a selector tower next time I'm at scrapyard so if I remember I'll get two.
-
Are you getting an swg cover? I've got one of those and mounted some fan spray type washer jets in there, can't remember what they were from but can get a picture if you want. Did get some mk4 ones you are welcome to but found these look a lot better!

Looking good, nice wheel choice. Will need some arch manipulation to fit them under but looks like you've started on them already. What you need is some Brock B2's like this (car look familiar?) Oh and by the way I just might know who has those wheels, that be me

P.s as in end of a letter, post script not ps vw. Yes, yes that is a daft question matt! Your brain must be fried after working on corrado too long

Hey all, I bought an aerial for my car but seems the connection is wrong type, been trying to find an adapter for it but can't seem to find anything. It's the aerial base on the roof, I think the connection is a raku2 type. Does anyone know where I could get an adapter or if it's possible to easily make one if I get male and female ends
-
Mines an m reg and looks the same. You might be able to pull the plastic cover off at the rear of the headlining and pull it down to check
-
I don't know if things have changed but I've always heard that if the accident wasn't your fault you can tell them you want it fully repaired
-
Top 2 are turbo, bottom one is n/a. Covers are custom, probably smoothed and painted standard ones. Seems a bit of a daft turbo setup just to clean the bay a bit, prefer to have some intercooler pipes and more power but each to their own.
-
Just a little filter, vents to earth. But like vag hag says, if you give ford a call, apparently they do them for cheaper as the galaxy uses the vr6 engine

Just found this thread, hopefully you've sorted it out now but useful for people searching for similar problem http://www.clubgti.com/showthread.php?261279-Heater-blowing-cold-not-hot-matrix-cleanse-and-air-flaps-foam-refurb-guide
