hello mate, Jim'll be pleased to track down his old car again, you've got yourself a peach there.
-
nah i reckon it was pure coincidence, she was probably trying to find radio 4.
-
there was a guy wandering the parks in middlesbrough that used to do that, think he got arrested in the end...
-
I dont think its a case of age or cost kev, i think its more the fact that for the most part they look nice and are obviously cared for and the nasty little f**kwits that damage peoples cars are being exactly that, nasty and f**kwitted.

most other corrado drivers wave back, now and then I get a wave off a sirocco (sp?) driver and the other day i got flashed and waved at by a young lad in a decked green lupo with black design 90's and a black bonnet... he looked a bit chavvy but the lupo looked nice so i waved back... i just didnt smile ;)

bloody hell mate i'd have been out the car and heading for the hard shoulder ASAP! cant help with the fault unfortunatly...
-
alot of my mates automatically label me as 'a bit of a boy racer' because i've modified my car which pi**es me right off, theres a world of difference between being an enthusiast and a boy racer. I cant say i've experienced much name calling behind my back (i guess i wouldnt know?) but i've had the usual comments like "why not just buy a new civic/focus/astra then it wouldnt need all that money spent on it".
-
still hard to grasp the fact its a daily driver, you must wash it nightly! my work carpark is simular, theres a couple of audi company cars but nothing that interesting, I've had a couple of people asking 'are you driving that corrado? ...nice!' which is always good to hear.
-
hehe how many times has he been asked that recently? how about a sticky 'why jediknight is selling his s3'?
-
yup you're right kev, 'trying' to keep up is about right  sorry, yes that was the oil... didnt read the first post correctly
-
mine runs between 90 and 110, i've seen it hit 150 when I've been thrashing it on a motorway... i dont think you've got anything to worry about if the temp is at 90-100.

dont take the first offer mate, this is typical of what insurance companies do. By asking for the log book they're trying to pressure you into accepting their offer, dont. stick to your guns, send them all the proof they need that to buy another corrado in the same condition would cost well over the £1200 they've offered and to put it simply, dont back down untill you get the result you want. I had this with my astra when i stuffed it, 12k new and 11 months old, they wanted to give me 7k for it. took a couple of weeks but i eventually got 9.5k which was a much more realistic figure.
-
oh i dunno kev, they have potential...
-
yes yes but how does she like the car?
-
would the airbag go off in an impact like that? blimey!
-
I thought that stright away kev, i cant see them using something that horrific in a public display, its probably been done to show people the dangers of owning a micra.
-
well what do you expect if you start driving/riding about indoors? its asking for trouble!
-
i'm no lawyer but i'd think unless theres any actual damage the police cant really do much other than give the people that did it an ASBO, even if the egg could potentially cause damage.
