At Reigate Hill viewpoint this afternoon having a lazy Latte or 3 & reading the papers. Two Motorbike Cops parked next to the VR6 and were very interested in the car. Plenty of comments on the condition etc..

Fitted new GearKnob, Aerial Gasket & Cup Holder (in lieu of rear ashtray) -
Magnex are excellent, look subtle, sound reasonably quiet (unless pressing on) and are/were competitively priced. I would definitely have another

Even if I know I can make more breaking than selling, I would still rather take a hit and sell to an enthusiast restorer than a chancer or three. A couple of my. Old cars are now looking rather lovely and I'm glad I. Didn't take the quick bucks!

Mine aren't working and the previous owner has a VW quote for parts at £85!..his view (and mine) is. The car is only driven by me so the mirrors need only be in one position!

I'm currently on a trip to Lake District from Surrey, my VR6 reads 712 miles on this jaunt, not a single negative to report thus far! Epic cars for a road trip, with relatively light kerb weight,Corradodynamics, good fuel range and superb space..ideal! Always take a Corrado ahead of any other car I'm running.if the cars been looked after properly it will look after you
-
I would keep it for originality & functionality..My view is if ts good enough for a 911 then its good enough for a Corrado!..but the general consensus seems to be remove. They obviously look tidier with it removed

Cleaned half a tree off it and parked it somewhere else -
It looks very clean and original (aside from the wheels), but looks a tad steep price wise! I have recently aquired a 2 owner 58k miler (non-Storm, though Storm spec Aqua Blue with Beige Leather) with excellent VAG history for significantly less than this asking price.. But as good original, low miles, low owner cars get rarer there will be a definite market for them, even over arguably more sorted higher miles cars. For example I bought a lovely Classic Green Storm last year for half this asking pice that had done just over 100k miles, but was arguably a better car! I now realise I probably shouldn't have sold it, but circumstances dictated I had to. Big mistake that I hope Ive now rectified!..

They sure do, just over 7 squid plus VAT..though it took the chap around 20 mins searching on the system to find the part. I haven't collected the items yet, but will post up parts numbers when I do next week. The gearknob was just over £40 with club discount of 10%..you don't realise how worn the original part is till ou see the new 'matt' leather finish

was at Drift Bridge VAG in Epsom the other day, pulled I to Parts Dept car park (to order an Aerial Gasket and GearKnob), several chufties later (customer, parts guy, sales guy & an unidentified other) I left feeling very pleased with the world.

Fitted a BMC CDA to my latest VR at Stealth en route to Lake Dostrict for a weeks campage at Great Langdale NT -
AA have always been great for me. I know some people have horror stories about the various breakdown companies (including the AA), but Ive only ever been treated courteously and reasonably quickly by them. Cant recall ever having to wait more than an hour for assistance, usually sorted by the side of the road. Only once had to be recovered and they dont quibble at the distance. However, with new regulations they may be only able to transport part of journey before having to offload for another patrol. Tachos etc.. I also have the mechanical breakdown insurance and the one time I had to use it the AA were excellent, paid most of repair bill and very pleasant to deal with.

purchased an Aerial Gasket and Gearknob from local VW, cleaned the engine bay and wheel arches/door hinge areas ahead of National in May. Purchased a new Aero wiper blade for rear screen. -
Welcome to the forum. Your car looks very nice. I thought for a moment that you may have bought my first Corrado, as the reg plate looked familiar, but a quick check shows my Valver to have been M447. Hope you get your ABS problem sorted easily. I've had ABS/sensor issues on nearly every Corrado Ive had!

Welcome back to ownership, addictive little beggars aren't they!

The spoiler, actual aerodynamic aid or marketing ploy?
Billzeebub replied to Roger Chatfield's topic in General Car Chat
To be honest, any aerodynamic benefits are largely superfluous to the real point of the spoiler..every time I exceed the trigger speed it makes me smile, sometimes even chuckle! The fact it helps me to not crash hideously would just be an added bonus -
Hope you get to the bottom of the issues, as its looking superb

Welcome back, good to see people coming back to the car. Youre nearly as bad as me! I picked up my eighth Corrado on Sunday(seventh VR6)!!I can never stay away for more than a few months! Your new Storm looks lovely, always nice to see cars that haven't been messed about with. My last Corrado was a green Storm from Scotland, which on reflection I probably shouldn't have sold!

Ive just ordered mine through the website last night. Looking forward to receiving it

Twilight Violet? K plate VR6 at the Mercedes Benz World Ph Sunday Service this morning. I was also in mine, but didnt see you
