Occasionally on the A3 so it may well have been. Based near Banstead, so always around there. I think the reg on my car is native to Aberdeen, so doubt there are many other XSS cars around Surrey area. I definitely haven't seen your car though!..with the colour/wheels it is very recognisable!..

..had a lovely ride up on Reigate Hill today, increasingly impressed with the 2012 Boardman Pro HT. It replaced my 2010 Specialized Rockhopper Expert that was stolen out of the shed! It's a medium (18" I believe, I'm 6ft and it fits me perfectly)

Mine just dropped through the letterbox, local Postie getting later every day recently. Loving the blackberry cover, brew time..

I. Have a 2004 Subaru Forester Turbo and can't recommend it enough, likewise the Impreza Wagon and Legacy..brilliant all weather/purpose cars
-
Not much at the moment, the car appears to be a good'un. I am determined to get the bonnet painted because of stone chips, assuming I keep the car, this is my next job..combine it with getting the small patch of rust done on the bottom of front wing...keep putting it off because it doesn't really affect my everyday enjoyment of the car..need to get it looking immaculate though before the Spring and the 25th Anniversary etc

Brilliant

..your cube looks lovely, I really wanted to get one of these after my previous bike was stolen from shed..unfortunately the Insurer would only let me have a Halfords (Boardman-which I actually now quite like)..Cubes are the best looking bikes in my opinion
-
..that was indeed myself, good spot as I was tucked away in a corner!..on the winter tyres/wheels which weren't really necessary today...think mine was the only C there today?!..

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...
Billzeebub replied to Jim's topic in General Car Chat
..spectacular day, got up at silly o'clock, washed the VR6 in the dark!..then T-Cut'd it and polished, got on the road for Ph Sunday Service at Goodwood. Clear blue skies, temp climbing to double figures, a nice boat down to the circuit (by the time we got there the Corrado was dirtier than before I washed it!), copious quantities of bacon, coffee and a nice eclectic mix of cars..good times. Mine was the only Corrado I spotted at the meet as well.. -
..with regards the cold, I like it more. A crisp winters day is totaly life affirming in my opinion. Always give myself a reward at the end of a ride..the best unhealthiest cake and sweetest latte I can find in one of my favourite coffee shops..nothing like sitting in the warmth caked in dirt and sweat looking forward to a warm shower (not sure the proprietors view it that way though, or the ladies that lunch!?)..if anything I go out for more regular rides in the winter..

MTBs and Corrado, the perfect day out..

great film. If I could afford 911s then that would be my obsession too. Seem to permanently be saving for a 993!..always felt that the Corrado is a sort of poor mans Porker..character and engineering
-
Not sure exactly, but they are relatively sought after. I once owned a VR6 that had been written off cat D because somebody had broken in just to steal the Electric Leather Recaros. I believe the quote from VAG to replace the seats was thousands! Needless to say the C merely had standard leather seats in it when I bought it. I must admit if my C had the Recaros I would sell them and fit standard leather seats ..also, in light of the above I would tell your insurer. They were an option from new. An insurer could potentially refuse to cover if you don't declare!?..

Sensational photos of a stunning car. I wouldn't reveal the location of that lock-up to anyone!!..
-
If it was me (and the damage wasnt too bad) I would buy it back and then get another, ideally the same colour. Shelve the parts in the garage..
-
I would never use KwikFit for anything, their business model relies on numpties who wouldn't know one end of an exhaust from another..

The definitive "What Air Filter?" discussion thread
Billzeebub replied to CazzaVR's topic in Engine Bay
Standard airbox with snorkel removed definitely gets my vote. Mine also has a K&N Panel Filter. Sounds sublime and looks stock. -
Great looking car, nice attention to detail. Very subtle and original looking
-
I'm quite partial to them too
-
I really don't want to be appreciated by, or even acknowledge anybody that doesn't know what a Corrado is. It is fair to say I have dumped girls in the past over their view of cars, my cars certainly!
-
Good little article, I never get bored of reading Corrado related stories!..regarding the Spoiler, everyone I know loves it. Always a talking point. Though at the moment my current Gf is referring to the C as 'the Back to the Future Car', in light of it sporting roofbars and Thule roof mounted cycle racks!..the cheeky lil fcuker.. ..whenever I get blasé about my VR6 I just have to drive an average modern car and Iam immediately refocused on why I love my Cso much..always regret selling, can't imagine a day when I don't own one or want to own one!

Quite reassuring that MFA are reasonably accurate. I have never been that bothered to workout my fuel economy. The MFA shows an average of 25.8. Most of my driving recently has been around town so I'm well happy with that. On motorway/open road journeys it is usually hovering around 35mpg+
-
No, but I had them on my old E36 and they were a nightmare to keep clean!!..do look stunning though
-
These are truly excellent bits of kit. I have one in mine, well engineered and solving one of my main issues with the C interior. Well worth a tenner I would say
-
Great to see you are in a Corrado again. I did a similar journey too, through BMWs and back to a Corrado. Always regret selling one
