This ^ No problems with 1x Audison LRX1.1k and 1x Audison LRX5.600 at high volume... :)

It's not aligned.. :-) It basically looks like this, so it doesn't matter if it spins. It's just that you have to hold the "nut" in place, so you can get the bolt out.. :) It's a 10.9 bolt though, with thread lock, so it might take some force to get loose.

Yeah, that's normal for all 8v VW Hydraulic lifter heads.. So nothing to worry about :-)
-
I'd say replace it, the money you spend on a new one will be saved in fuel cost.. :)

I ordered one of these myself yesterday. No idea on how they are quality-wise, but they seem quite interesting. Though this one is the 100cell version, so not strictly legal.. (But here in Norway they don't check too closely, as long as you're below the emission-requirements.) http://www.ebay.de/itm/100-Zeller-Cat-Kat-VW-Corrado-G60-16V-VR6-Turbo-/220770633269?pt=DE_Autoteile&hash=item3366f48635

Yes, the G60 ones are unique. Last time I checked (a few months ago) I think the dealer said that they were obsolete from VW Germany, but I might remember wrongly... The aftermarket "OE" G60 ones are crap - the rubber on mine was destroyed / split after not too many weeks of (ab)use. Though the fact that my car is lowered and I'm running the Koni TA's on max setting might contribute quite a bit to that.. Never had any problems with the bearing itself on them though..

Oil could come from the boost return pipe also (engine breathing.) Might be worth to take a look in the return pipe before blaming the charger seals.. :)

We normally use silicone spray here in Norway.. :) One spray, and my cars have all been okay for the rest of the winter.. Edit: We use the spray on dry door seals of course, if they are wet or icy I dunno how it'll work.. Put the car in a garage if possible, or dry the door seals somehow, then spray.. :)

Mine's doing this also.. Thanks for the tip, will take a look sometime when it's warmer.. (Car's in storage).. :)

I had some Hertz ESK130 (13cm) components at the front - with the tweeter in the dash, and Fusion Encounter 6x4" at the back. The fronts installed just fine, but had to cut away some of the plastic for the rear mounts at the underside. This isn't really visible, and I think you have to do this for most speakers.. This setup gave nice sound, but not too much bass. Would recommend a subwoofer too, but I guess that depends on what you're listening to.. :) If you want more bass I guess the SpoonFedTuning door pods are helpfull, as the enable you to have 6.5" (16.5cm) speakers in the doors (stock is 13cm). http://spoonfedtuning.myshopify.com/products/corrado-door-pockets

Hello, My 2 year old G60 fuel pump won't flow enough to get me past 5500rpm on my setup, so I'm looking for a Corrado/Golf VR6 fuel pump housing / swirl pot. According to Vince @ Stealth, the one I need is from 94 and newer. I don't mind if the pump itself is knackered, as I'm going to replace it with the Stealth fuel pump upgrade thing. I need this type, with 3 screws holding the "lid" down. A fitting fuel level sender would be sweet aswell :)

I'd like a black VW rear badge too..! And I need the radiator flange + seal also.. And thinking about it, I need the rear number plate thing too + mounting rubber/nuts. Would you mind posting to Norway? For extra postage of course. I could send you the card numbers if you require that.. :) (Or do it by phone, but I'm not that good at speaking English..)

Hmm, do want this one.. Any possibility to have one sent up to Norway? :) -
Does the fuel pump run too? I had that when the wire to the fan afterrun switch (the one on the support-bracket to the inlet manifold from the head) was shorting on the head itself. The wire had melted a bit. Worth a check.. :)

~46mm outer diameter on the "hump" that stops the hose from falling off, ~44mm on the rest.. If that was understandable.. I fitted a 1.75inch hose to mine (44.45mm), and it's a very tight fit.. :)

From memory: First: Some checsum, doesn't really tell much.. Second: Boost/Vacuum Third: RPM Fourth: Fuel consumption just now. Fifth: Speed sensor for speedometer Sixth: Oil temperature Seventh: Outdoor temperature.. Hope that helps.. :)

The MFA2 shows about 9 liter/100km, converted to mpg it's approx. 26.. But I have ~75% larger injectors than stock... :| So what I'm really getting is close to 15-16liter/100km, which equals to approx 14.7mpg... And I have the small fuel tank.. And there's only 19 stations in Norway that's selling E85.. Oh the joy...
