Good spot! The rears are 205 55 and the fronts are the correct 205 45. Couldn't afford 4 new tyres at the mo, so will have to make do with those for now :? They are the correct size for the vRS though, which could do with some new rubber in the next few months, so it should all work out OK!

Sounds good. Think the 3-bar grille and new tails/side indicators are essential. It's those things that date the C in a bad way.

Hi mate, In the future, I'm just gonna make sure I don't tighten the locking nuts too much + copper grease them too. The guy at the garage spent ages hammering on different sized sockets, and tried to airgun them off. Eventually worked, but took a while. Yeh, can't go wrong with BBS imho. Perfect oem+ wheels. I certainly won't be selling the C- even though this is our second nipper, as we've got an Octy vRS etsate for the holidays, family trips and general donkey work :lol: . Trying my best to look after her- still a few minor things to be sorted. Looking at the receipts, seems like you looked after her really well 8) Did she win a prize a few years back? There's a GTI Inters plaque mounted in front of the gearstick.

Looking good 8) Any cosmetic plans? I know they'll be further down the line, but it's nice to think about ;)

Took a quick snap of the C with it's new rims on. I'll get some proper pics soon 8) Oh yeh, and here's also a pic of my other new (albeit much more important :D ) acquisition- pic taken by a midwife on Friday :D

Jim, dunno why, but that sounded very camp! Hairdresser talk! :lol: Cut 'n' blow dry? :lol: Well, I got my nightmare locking wheel nuts removed by a local tyre place. Fitted my new rims, with nice new rubber on the front (Toyo Proxes T1-S).

I've got the Powerchips one. I've got an early VR6 unsoldered chip, so it was just a 5 min job to swap.

Brilliant stuff- you must be sooooo chuffed 8) So, did it drive well? Manage to keep up with big bro OK. The official 0-60mph time for the 1.816v is actually quicker than the standard G60 IIRC, due to the gearing! Did you spot anything else on the way home that needs doing?
