sounds interesting & in the area (kind of) what sort of options & prices do you offer?

ive no experience of a G60 but IIRC superchargers are there to provide a low rev range boost (rather than a turbo for the later stages of rev's) was there any history regarding a supercharger rebuild in your documents? plug it into a VAG-COM if you can & check for faults im sure someone on here will kow how to tell if your charger has an issue good luck

i decided to go with black centres & polished lips on the BBS splits for the white valver - cant wait to see what they will turn out like....got the repaired wheel ready to collect today

ahhh i hadnt looked around for a 'remake' of similar wheels. ferrari's didnt have compomotives if im correct but the modena's were also 3 piece splits ;) when i was looking around a perfect set of the autostrada's (polished, no kurb marks etc etc) can fetch up to $3000 in the states these are the 'proper' ones i want....& the ones i missed & should have brought grrrrr (i even PM'd the guy who sold them here to ask if he knew if the purchaser was going to actually use them but no joy) http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=80650 if i see any you might like i will post & please if ANYONE sees any autostrada's pretty please let me know

where did you find ferrari wheels EJ? ive been hunting some 16" autostrada modena's for months & am still kicking myself in the balls for not buying the set that popped up on here :( ive tried googling all types of search strings but only ever find links to old posts from years ago the 2nd image down is pretty close to them too

think i still have a copy of kur2y's fitting instructions I can copy & send you if you struggle to contact him goldie

with a decent dremel it could be done in lass than half hour start to finish. daves16v kit comes with fitting instructions but its basically a case of...... remove gear knob lift up & remove gear stick cowling use dremel to take off a small amount of the lip at the front of where the gear mechanism fits (this is done to avoid having to drop the mechanism out from under the car & is not seen) unclip the old shifter & wriggle it out put the new one in centre it up left to right movement refit cowling & gear knob of choice sit back & enjoy the lovely new feeling of each gear throw :)

No danger m8, happy to help :) the shift kit not only shortens throw but also takes away any of the factory sloppyness. i would definitely recommend buying a dremel for the install as a metal files takes forever ;) the grill isnt going anywhere, just PM me if you want it. as for fitting, you would have to take care regarding being messy but some silicone sealant would probably do the trick

not sure if you know EJ but the Kappa range of infinity speakers all have their own individual in line passive cross overs & a 2ohm nominal impedence to cater for those who dont install chunky wires & use the very thin factory stuff. (ahhh just seen your signature, forgive me if im saying stuff you already know lol) i agree in principal that if budget allows then go components but as with everything it depends on how far you want to go & how much you want to spend if it helps quantify my setup, headunit + 5.25's + 6*9's (minus the sub/amp), was under £250 with some savvy shopping :D PS im not plugging infinity, its just my experience
