my mate has one and he cant get rid of his for love nor money. its a fun car to throw about but power delivery is very strange. his munches through petrol like nothing and im in a sodding g60. dont really feel fast when youre inside but if you watch the speedo they do shift well. for me id go with a well sorted 200sx for around the same money, now thats a smile machine.

no cat on mine and it goes through fine :D
-
oh dear
-
wow, very nice motor. what does it go like? any rr figures? only thing i can say i dont like on it is the steering wheel, but each to there own :D
-
yay, glad to say i told you so

119.9 at my local shell today, cant say its made any difference to performance as per usual but maybe ill get a few more miles out of a tank
-
oh and need to blank off the oil feed pipes, i used an m8 and m6 bolt with washers, and ptfe tape to seal it up. does sound like its about to go bang.

you can run without a charger, need a 6 rib belt 1250-1275mm, i have one in the garage from when i had mine done, and bodged some flexi hose from the air box to the intercooler pipe. mine is my daily and took 27 days to come back if i remember correctly. will be better on fuel but pretty god damn slow.

Yep overtime 7am to 7 pm. Kev even god would have been proud of what i laid today, and how much time i spent making sure i was clean and also reading the news. Cant beat a paid crap.

Im going to take a dump soon, hardest work i plan on doing today. Overtime sucks.
-
Im ready to be slated for it but your sig answers the question sadly

for a 78mm pulley then 11psi is probably not far off what it should be. but still would reccomend lengthening the fuse on the time bomb. but with todays figures id say sooner rather than later, choose who does it wisely though, i had a shockingly bad experience when mine was done. id rather scrap my car than ever pay them another penny.

give swompy (jake) a pm. i could be talking out my arse, but i seem to think i saw it.
-
as i said before, i changed my when it was on lowering springs without a compressor. its easier with one but its up to you really. think i remember someone writing a how to, possibly swompy?? have a search if theres anything youre not sure on. its pretty straight forward, just remember what order you take the bits off in. so you can do the same in reverse.

I agree about Shell. I personally like the BP ultimate they serve at BP on the A406 after chingford. I can actually tell the difference. My local esso is crap, diluted petrol i call it. they changed my bp in a texico, theres more chance of me stamping on my own balls than filling up there

Short shifter, not side to side, shorter throw...
mimjed replied to Abdul's topic in Suppliers Forum
mimjed has got a good point. That should be your perfect solution though not much OE shaft to trim... standard length doesn't exactly impress the ladies :norty:    neither does smaller id imagine -
ccgb could be nice and give you the number of active memberships they have for storms, its a starting point.
-
not a fan of shell perol, very hit amd miss. but might have a bash as theres one near work. esso is the daddy for me

you can chop the shaft and rethread it so its much shorter, has a similar effect and costs bugger all. id reccomend getting a spare to do it on though incase you dont like it. -
wouldnt it be easier if you had a join fabricated? just a hollow metal tube with the correct thread to join the hoses, so the mocal is doing nothing if you get me? i assume they will be made as plumbing parts.
-
its weak for a stage 4. should be seeing at least 15 on a 68 mm. last service? possible boost leak.....
-
No it wont ruin the charger, some people say it might put more boost in the engine than can be used, but not had any problems on both my g's. The only problem thats caused is that youre removing some of the oil return pipework to the charger, so youre reccomended to give it a good spray of ptfe lubricant every 1k. Its never straight forward with a g60, so many different opinions on them.
-
egay do plenty of mini filters. just have to measure it up. other option is to feed the boost back in via a silicone hose and a t piece.

looking forward to his book already

Dont quote me on it but im sure you need more than two litres. I think it was 4 or 5. Looking for around 40% mix for the winter. Sorry im pretty drunk and cant remember.
