Put a bolt in one of the holes for the gearbox back in the block... Then use a crow bar to hold the flywheel against the bolt........ -
1994 corrado have the normal 16 pin conector... But I doubt the all in one code reader will go into it since the corrado is old obd... Anyway... Nothing will blow up by trying

Do you have both wheels jacked up? If only one is jacked the antiroll bar will make it a nightmare

You might need to use a punch and hammer on the flat surface of the balljoint... And the use a screw driver to align the holes... That should do it

Ok so its not the new ecu... Got spark on the plugs? Did you put everything back like before? Earth wires?
-
Was this the original problem before you changed the ecu?
-
On newer cars (maybe mk3 vr6s) the temp gauge is controlled by the ecu, thats why it stays ,allways, in the middle. On the corrados they have separate sensors just for the gauge. On mine its the same as yours. But you can allways cross check it with the ecu temp readings with vag-com.

That looks like a mk4 golf plug... Maybe someone wired in a mk4 plug for the mk4 sensor? Is the mk4 sensor cheaper? And theres a plastic rocker cover... Isnt that from mk4 aswell -

I would change the sensor... But you can allways try to erase the faults, drive it and then check the faults again. -
Ups... Sorry... I thought you mean the remote.... For the ccm make shure you get another with the same part number... And yes you need vagcom to code it
-
To program its easiear with vag-com... But depends if it immo2 or immo3... I think immo2 can be done without diagnostics... Should say how to do it on your handbook
-
You just have to check the mhz band of yours and get one with the same mhz. You need to separate the flip key side from the remote side and youll see some numbers, there you will find the mhz frequency...
