Thanks for the heads up.

Surely it comes from the days of stagecoaches where riding shotgun literally meant guarding the coach with a shotgun?

I'm loving 17, 18 and 21.

Mine did around 34mpg on a very long run recently.

Central locking stopped working on my vw corrado 1990

I'm not near my Bentley manual at the moment but don't the electric windows share the same fuse (fuse 21 I think)? Do the windows still work? If not it could be something to do with them (maybe check where the wiring goes from the car to the doors as they can rub over time). -
Jesus ************* rip off merchants!

Added to watchlist :)

I can't help with the part number but if you already have a non working one they are quite simple to take apart and clean up inside. I did it to mine when I got the car. The contacts just get oxidised over time and I took it apart and rubbed them down. There's a few springs inside so watch for those.

Hmmm, about about £80 delivered to my door. I'm not even sure why I got a quote lol.

That's great. Well done to her.

The car will need trailering but does seem worth it. a Low mileage car so the seats should be in reasonable condition. Take the seats and aircon out, sell a few parts to cover the trailering cost and then scrap the rest. It's close to me but I don't have the time or the need at the moment.

I'm voting keep it both for functionality and originality, or to put a bung in it if you really want it gone. If / when you come to sell it will be a ballache to.put it back again if you have to source a new tailgate for painting. You wouldn't bother and would then sell it to people who may avoid the car with such modifications. So I vote for a bung.

Like those a lot.

The spoiler, actual aerodynamic aid or marketing ploy?

Don't you just push the stalk to turn the wiper on and then push it again to turn it off? Also the front intermittent wiper has a user programmable delay... push the stalk down then back up again, wait for the period you would like the delay, then push it down again. It will now wipe with the delay you set. If you have an after market alarm then you can have it wired to the window close feature. If I leave the windows open I can lock the car on my alarm fob and if I hold the button fir a few seconds it closes the Windows and sunroof. -

It's nice to have the storm but it's only a couple of badges. So personally I'd say a few hundred pounds more than an equivalent VR6 with leather in equivalent condition. Mystic blue is almost unique to Storms on the Corrado but a common Golf colour. VR6 cars range from a few hundred pounds to thousands depending on condition.

Welcome. Looks great.

You can drive to a pre booked MOT station and back again with no tax. You must have insurance and you must tell the garage to record your number plate in case you get stopped by the police on the way so that you can prove its that car that is booked for the MOT. Yes you can drive it home again if it fails unless the garage tells you it's actually unsafe.

Welcome back :)

How did the viewing go?

As above it really depends on condition. Is there any bolster wear or tears? Do all the electric switches work correctly? Do you have the matching door cards and are they for a late or early car?
-
I don't recognise the number but it's very close to me if you wanted someone to take a quick look over the weekend and give an owners opinion (I'm not a mechanic).

Yes I believe the law changed in 2012 and a cat must be present if the car had one originally. Some people leave the cat in place but gut the internals.
