so, have any of you driven them yet????
-
I always try to plug Vince as much as I can. He's a top guy, only sells top quality parts, and gives no-nonsense advice too.
-
buy them from the states http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com http://www.boosteddubs.com
-
Which grade bushes did you buy? stage 1?

Pristine Wheels in Milton Keynes do it.
-
measure the distance from the mounting face of the wheel to where the bol head seats.
-
The idea of altering wheels scares the sh1t out of me....I can't seeyour insurance company being to impressed either if they cause a crash.
-
err, look down the bolt holes from the back of the wheel. the seat where the bolt head sits isn't rar off the back of the wheel....if you machine the back of the wheel off, you'll have nothing to bolt to.
-
but when you do that you reduce the amount of metal left for the bolt to hold the wheel on?!?!? not a good idea....
-
I've got a corrado 8v axle, which is 8mm per side narrower. free to a good home, but needs some welding where I've cut off the bias valve bracket (the VR one was different).

Search on Vortex for Walbro.
-
hehehe  only testing. Seriously though, my mate is after another one, so if you think of a price PM me and let me know.
-
I haven't got a leaher interior. I had TT seats, but I sold them years ago.

all the carbon cannister does is filter fumes from the fuel tank, and pump them back into the inlet manifold to burn them off. It's an environmental thing.
-
After trying both, I can honestly say I don't like leather, and I'll never have it again. far too slippy, cold inthe winter, hot inthe sumer, and wears out too quick, marks easily and take too long to clean.
-
How much is cheap? bearing in mind I paid £450 for mine....
-
cone filters in the engine bay are a waste of time......sluggish throttle response anyone? that's the hot air to blame. Always ditch the carbon cannister and mount the filter down there. perfect fresh air from the bumper if you drill the grille out.
-
Another vote for the big ram air hre too, but only if it's well oiled. if it's dry it'll filter about as well as an old sock.
-
just been told it's likely that my injectors are f*cked or in need of a good clean.....more expense.
-
I'll wait for the other ECU, I know this one is a bit dicky anyway. it was free, so I didn't see any harm in trying it out. Still no fecking Samco's though.....
-
I've got a VR6 pump anyway so I'll put that in if it struggles. I've found out the ECU is a later type, with the immobiliser built in, so that's why it's cut off the fuelling...
-
nope. I alwys thought it had a VR6 pump in it? I always ran my VR6 off the 8v pump in my mk2's with no bother.
-
fantastic, cheers for that, VERY useful

You can get an OBD2 ABV lump, but only in a golf syncro, not a corrado.
