I love them to bits. only ever seen one, but it was a minter. Bit gutted really, As I really wanted a Dusty Mauve corrado, and then found out they only made 6!!

Saw Ben in his red polo on the M62 on Saturday. I was in my mates peppermint green mk2.

Just missed out on a G60 syncro gearbox on eBay. it was only 68p!! the b4stard ended the auction before I put a bid in....

You may find there's too much of a voltage drop to trigger the starter. this could be bad connections, a weak battery, or a worn ignition switch.
-
yes. well, the transfer box and the diff need to be matched. the rallye one is a different ratio to the Vr6 syncro one, but I think the golf syncro one is just the same as a rallye on.

I've never seen mine in the sun, it's always f*cking dark, so it looks purple!!! Is it the same dark burgundy pearl they use on G60 edition one golfs? -
020 syncro box is the weak point, you need an 02A one really. Still haven't got round to starting my VR6 syncro setup....

May be ugly, but it's got a G60 16v VW motorsport engine and 4WD. -
I was considering organsing a show up at Elvington airfield, but it'd be really hard to get people to come for the first time to a new show. Especially up North. I was thinking, only about £5000 to hire the airfield for the day, plus paying staff, insurance and all the other sh1t it'd be around £40K. Aloow traders for free, and don't charge for showing. If you could get 4000 people paying £10 a peice you'd break even. I don't think 4000 is a lot considering GTI attracts over 20,000 and it's a LOT more than £10 to get in.... Only off the top of my head sums, but do you think it'd work? obviously I'd do a lot of reseach into what people actually want to see froma show, but after being on the forums for 3 years and into VW's for 6.5 years I think I have a damn good idea of what workds and what doesn't, and I know for a fact that being ripped off is top of the list of most peoples hates and the reason they don't attend certain shows.

Might be a long shot, but the last time mine made a noise like that the end of the CV joint had sheard clean off and the bearings were falling out! can't see it happening with the bigger VR6 ones like, but it's worth popping the wheels off and having a good look around.

4 miles!! it'd be rude not to. i mean, you could even go home for your dinner! -
Did ANYONE actually enjoy inters last year? I loved the night time in the pub, mainly becasue about 20 of my best mates were there ahving a damn good laugh! to be honest, that's all I'm going for this year.
-
Are you sure the noise isn't coming from the engine? "rythmic metallic rinding" sums up a knackered upper tensioner blade perfectly. Especially so as it seems to change in realtion to the heat of the engine.
