John, you have mail...
-
I'll be there - with out the C this time  will have to make do with the company limo
-
Wanna swap - seems like you've missed out on your fair share
-
Not wishing to dampen your spirits but that's just the start of it  in my 10 months of C ownership it has spent 4 of those off the road
-
That looks sweeeeet :D
-
A VR won't be cheeper to run than your BMW - unless you meant that you'd get more than £4K for the BM and so would be spending less buying the Corrado? You'll still end up spending what cash you have left on it  Anyways, good luck with your hunt for the C (you're doing the right thing) and welcome to the forum...

Very nice mate, take it that it's the evo? I nearly died in one of those last year, my mate lost the back end and sent us up a bank at 75 causing us to barrel-roll down the road... complete right-off  Oh how we miss that car  (him probably more than me) You just can't beat the pull and scream of that engine  it's what driving is all about (so long as the roads are dry)

I was there on the Saturday and it wasn't a bad day out (would have enjoyed it more if I'd had the C with me) but as already said above there were too many ******* ****** **** **** *******! I was under-taken on the way down by a black Golf VR (which got him no where) and after i flashed him I got the finger - if I ever meet him I'll cut it off! Really nice to see so many C's and the CCGB stand looked 8) There seemed to be a shortage of stuff available for the C on the trade stands but then again there's a shortage of C parts in general  The sprinting was good to watch - does anyopne know what happened to the driver of the red Audi that blew up at the end of the strip? Thought I saw an ambulance go down there lights flashing just after? Anyways a good day overall finished with a tasty curry in Ipswitch on the way home :D Saw Andi and Chris Corrado go past in the on coming traffic on the way out of the show (you wouldn't have spotted me as I was in the company limo LOL) Also nice to meet Campaign and Jims Corrado (I think thats what you said?) just as CCGB were packing up. Also nice to catch up with Alex and Guy... Just wish I'd found the forum parking area... nevermind, will hopefully be with you lot next year providied the C is running by then - I live in hope

Welcome to the forum cusstardo With standard suspension you shouldn't need to get gthem rolled and I think you can get away with upto a 40mm drop before it's a problem. The general feeling is that 16's are better in that they offer the best combination of looks and handling... There have been loads of threads on this so try using the SEARCH and you should find info on correct offsets and more details on ride height etc. Hope that helps a bit Phil

Check the HT leads, spark plugs, dizzy cap and coil (if you have them)... would be a good place to start. Hope you get it sorted
-
Have you managed to get this sorted yet Chris?
-
Very nice, gotta be one of the best colours on the C 8)

I'm running the ZV1's as well and am happy with the performance. Have a freind with a Scooby (legacy GTB import) and he was impressed how quick I took a roundabout in the wet - and then he remembered that I wasn't 4 wheel drive so was even more impressed!

Looks very nice mate and you have some lovely sceanery for C photos 8)

Someone's taken the P (the E and the U) out of my car!!!

Cheers guys, went to see the doctor and she said it is whiplash (hich everyones body will suffer from after a jolt) and the best bit is that it will only get worse over the next 24-48 hours  Car is now down in Wiltshire getting sorted so should have that back repaired and fully serviced in a week or two. For the time being I have to make do with the bosses 406 HDi estate - not too bad you might think.... how very wrong. I have no stereo, I sound like a white van and its too bloody slow  Really wishing my C was drivable at the moment  -
This sounds like the same problem that I've got with mine mate... only I'm putting it down to over fueling - lambda probe or bad ignition - new HT leads... having mine checked over on friday so will let you know at inters

Off to see the doc this afternoon... we shall see :? -
This happened about an hour and a half ago in Faversham (Kent) on the A20... Slowed down as the car in front of me was turning right, looked in my mirror and saw an black A4 just before it slammed into the back of me... It's a company car so thats not much of a problem but I've got whip lash and a bad ankle now :( Nevermind I've got the rest of the day off and I'm just grateful it wasn't my C :)

It's semi-exciting to hear about this and see the pics in the link but there really was no need to post it so many times :cuckoo:
-
Good work jim 8) they do rather suit the C don't they. So who will be the first?
-
Why have you posted this in at least 3 other forums
-
 it's a shame that someone is proud of that
-
Thanks vr6storm, um yeah sorry that really was a dumb question... mmmm 4 stud that'd be very cool Jim, damn there just too many rare rims that suit the C so well :?
