I like the LEDs used for 'ambient' lighting - tempted to fit a couple of leds for this effect 8)

Sorry dumb question  but what do the solitudes look like?
-
those alloys would look 8) on a VR if they'd fit?

Was about to start a thread on the Cupra R and then found this one... How nice are these  I've noticed them around for some time now and they have realy grown on me, new company car should be on the cards at the end of the summer and with some luck one of these may be an option... think the C would have to be sold for a VR though as there would be no point owning a weekend toy that was nearly 90bhp down on my week day car  Just need to go book me a test drive...

LoL yeah that works better - more clever screw placing and I'll have FU KET

Whats the difference in size / shape between the scorpion and the magnex?

Does anybody know why you can't get plates starting with 'F' yet - it's really pi$$ing me off as want to get my name - FII KET (Phil Kett)

When i got my alarm fitted last september I paid just over £300 to have the old alarm ripped out and a Sigma Cat 1 installed. I know some of the lads in the shop so the £300 was fairly well discounted... I think you'll have a job getting one under £300 - TBH you should expect to pay £350 for a Cat 1 I've been happy with my Sigma and was told that it's no better or worse than a Toad system. I think that the Sigma remotes look much better though 8)

Most alarms have the option to change the amount of time that they opperate the full closure feature... this means that if it wasn't fully closing all windows and sunroof then you could re-program the amount of time so that it does close everything. However in your post you say it does close everything and then lowers the window half way? That is odd :? my full closure only closes the drivers window about 75% and isn't alarm related  It might be that there is some kind of brain which does the windows and this might need re-programing or replacing... let me know how you get on as it might be the same part on mine thats buggered...

BTW there's two different designs for the badge - Pic above is the early style and the later one just reads Karmann with out the wheel bit on the left...
-
For that price I wouldn't have thought they'd be splits - prob the one-piece G60 rims like I have on my C...
-
You'd be able to sleep better in the back with a nice cloth 2.0 16V flat bench though
-
I think you can get chrome inserts from Trimsport?

First aid kit and warning triangle still came with the flat rear bench models and was kept in the boot with a mounting bracket on the left hand side of the boot by the lamp 8)

COuld have been sat on a forecourt for a month or so? I think that's the reasoning behind the few P reg VR's out there....
-
Both look 8) Would have thought the valver seems pretty dull now compared to the VR

lets face it though - the US is better for petrol heads. They get cheeper cars prices, cheeper fuel, long open roads and can start driving younger than us... hell I'd go if it wasn't for all the red necks
-
Really sorry to hear that - I hope his car is completely f'ked! I say take him for everything he has - I'm getting more and more fed up with stupid f'kin drivers riskin not only their lives but everyone elses. (have just dealt with the A3 out of london in the rain in rush hour so am very pi$$ed off with bad drivers in general)

G60 BBS rims are the best "standard rim" IMO, my C came with these which was 8) Didn't know much about C's at the time so I guess that was a lucky find (even if the rest of it was an unlucky find LOL)
