With out deffo looks better IMO and I think you can get em for £30 if you look in the right places - Inters would be the best place for a bargain 8) My grill came about as a swap for a battery... mine doesn't have the lugs for the 16V / G60 / VR6 badge though but I have seen people put the badges on them so don't know if thats the case for all de-badged grills?
-
think they look 8) but prefer the TT / RS4 rims myself...
-
Thats way cool, I seem to remember seeing mk3 golfs with these as standard fittings?
-
I like that... think Grey is one of the best rado colours 8)
-
8) look forward to seeing it m8

I think the general feeling on the whole points issue is most insurers see SP30's as an every day hazard and don't rape you for a first offence... give them a call and have a chat with them, you'll prob find that they won't charge any extra and if they do try it on then have a look at other companies - there's plenty to choose from...

Nice one, would be good to see some pics of yours dude... (my bad if it's in the members rides section - I'm too lazy  )
-
That is nice - kinda reminds me of the UPS one... I'm not the biggest fan of those bumpers though and I wouldn't bother with the single wiper conversion but otherwise it's well sweet, you've gotta love those porshe mirrors 8)

Didn't know you could get backlit gearknobs... is this a VW part or is it an aftermarket one?
-
Nice looking motor mate... I see you too have a colour coded front spoiler - looks really good like that but like mine it will crack and chip on anything taller than a matchbox  Welcome to the forum BTW :D

They're doing "buy one get one free" on all turtle wax cleaniing products this weekend too... Which OZ rim did you go for?
-
Does that mean that after fitting bezzels you can't have the clear plastic on at all? Doesn't sound like the best idea to me :?
-
I've got a CCGB plate surround and my plate is too long to fit in... hence I need to cut it down - don't want to buy another one if I can help it! Thanks for the replies chaps, sound like it should be fairly straight forward. Gonna get on with it now 8)

I miss my MK1 :(

Very nice looking metallic burgandy VR6 in brighton on tuesday morning - lowered on 17's (multi-spoke BBS types) reg plate was A11VRG 8) I wasn't in my C so you wouldn't have noticed me....
-
Clear side repeaters are probably the cheepest and first thing on my C that I sorted out... then came the FK lights followed by lupo wipers and de-badged grill 8)
-
I need to take about half an inch of each side of my rear numberplate to get it fit in my numberplate surround... was thinking of just sanding it on each side but don't want to crack and end up buying a new plate... Any clever ideas much appreciated Phil

Chris, where did you get the red port thing from? Am planning to do this over the weekend... wouldn't mind having a look at your's first if poss? Cheers

My dad has the 2.0L 16V Megan Coupe and I'm afraid it is faster than a 2.0 16V C...

Do these control the auto up feature on drivers window? My auto up only goes up 75% and you have to do in manualy from there :( also makes the closure on the alarm pointless

I really don't want to hold an opinion of your situation Struan, I'm sorry to hear about it and sympathise with you over the damage to your C (hell, my Golf got keyed within a week of being restored  ) Your car looks like a real beut in your avitar :) The bottom line is that it's a shame that this sort of thing can taint what I've always thought of as a friendly and close knit community of like minded people that have as much respect for your ride as they do for theirs. At the end of the day everybody who turns out for local meets is there because of their love and respect for their cars and for the scene... not because they want to damage other peoples pride and joy. I think this is a case of joke gone wrong (as said earlier) and this thread is only making it harder for those who may be guilty to come forward. I hope this doesn't cause you too much grief and you get things fixed as soon as possible... just remember most people you meet through the V dub scene have exactly the same interests as you. Phil -
Another word or two of warning my problems started with oil leaking in the same place - after changing all the wrong bits it eventualy turned out to be the oil pump... it was pi$$ing out though rather than just a little leak so you're prob ok

wayhey - Quick fix... spray em matt black? Then no-one can tell if there's brake dust on them - problem solved  -
Yup on is black and the other is white/grey... the one on the left is the black one... Campbel - is your "smaller" (hehe) one only a two pin conection or is it multi pin? AFAIK all the valvers had the 2+2 conections along with the G60 and the VR got the all singing all dancing multi pin setup... Could be wrong though

Any of the hollyoaks girls would be fine to have along - as long as it wan't the ginger one
