  1. 3 point harneses - two straps over your sholders and one between your legs buckle in the middle 4 point harneses - two straps over your sholders and one either side of your legs buckle in the middle three point would be a problem with standard seats
  2. PMSL... can't beleive they'd do that
  3. LOL didn't spot that.. will point it out to him  Yeah, we were all lucky to get out OK I still feel very gutted every time I see this pic though, it was such a beutiful car and went like stink (you'd expect it to with 321bhp!)
  4. Looks very clean - one to be proud of! Think the wheels look too big though or maybe it just needs slamming... I'd put 16's on it and lower it myself. Anyways enjoy C ownership and welcome to the forum
  5. would be worth doing a search on dare I say it "cough" Vortex as I seem to remember seeing some good step by step instructions on there regarding convering the lights to LED's. From what I remember you'll have to solder the LED's and resistors on to the conductive track at the top of the clocks as I don't think there is a dirrect replacement. By using UV LED's like I said before you'll prob find they only light the needles (once painted a fluro colour) as it doesn't look like your dials will be UV reactive. To keep the Blue Theme you could use blue fluro paint for the needles 8) Only way to do it is to experiment IMO... best of luck :D
  6. Have seen a miltek on a C and didn't think the exhaust tip came out far enough from the bumper... there was literally only about an inch of tip sticking out - I think the standard looks better! Does the Magnex come out further... some pics would be great if anyone has em?
  7. My favorite car of all time, we all die at some point and to be fair I'd be happy to die behind the wheel of a Cobra
  8. is their an optional sub and burbury seat cover too
  9. UV LED's dude.. paint the needles floro orange and they'll glow like a b@st@rd. would have thought that this would keep illumination of the dials to a minimum (provided they don't react to UV) Also alu bezals would really finish it off 8)
  10. well it looks great in your sig and I'm sure it'll be even better when you have it back. One to be proud of :D
  11. They do look good... just need the LCD lit and maybe some coloured light on the needles too
  12. I think they leave the bulbs out on the Evo to keep the weight down
  13. all good things and all that... M15 VW, is that the beasty in your sig pic?
  14. Cos we're all stooopid  and of course the grin factor does make it all worth it
  15. nope... he was hot on the case of getting C's together for N/R - not seen or heard form him since though :?
  16. ....lose the back end doing 75 with a slightly damp S bend on a narrow country road  We shot up the bank, barrel rolled, landed on the roof, slid down the road, hit the other bank and flipped back onto our wheels facing the way we came!!! Good old german engineering, all three of us in the car only had a few bruises, cuts and scratches!!! The most damage done (other than to the car) was my friends damaged ego and loss of his NCB. This happend nearly a year ago but I've only just managed to get a pic of the car, so thought I'd share it with you chaps...
  17. can't see them i'm afraid...
  18. Sorry to hear your about your nightmare... I swear these cars spend more time in bits in a garage rater than out on the road where they belong! Mine has been in and out of garages constantly for the last 8 months  due to on going problems with oil pressure and now severe electrical faults screwing the timing! I'ts at the garage at the moment and has been there for the last two and a half weeks :( I do keep telling myself that it's all worth it as one day I'll have it on the road and it'll work perfectly although tbh my hope/patience is wearing very thin now  Good luck gettng it sorted, I'm sure it can't be as bad as mine
  19. Had early C seats in my Mk1 and these gave me back pains but the ones in my late spec C are fine - no probs at all :) I wonder if they improved lumber support on the later seats?
  20. Those seat belts are so 8) Would they be easy to fit in a UK C? I'm guessing not... moving batt to passenger footwell is an interesting mod

    Pillow pods

Sod Pillow pods whats a guinea ping? PMSL
  22. What are those???? Sorta smoked look I think.. not seen a rear done like this but the fronts look cool... prob get pulled quite quick for these though so would be best to screw for quick change ability
  23. my p/s is heavier than it is on my pug 406 (boat).. but the car is designed to be a much more sporty than the boat so I'd assume that it would be heavier - got me thinking though, will have to compare mine to other C's once I hae it back...
  24. I love these rims... as for the 15's on the C in the orriginal post I think they look the right size for the car (probably helped by the drop) So is phatg60 selling just the one set or can he supply?
  25. doh - just realised that G60 BV is ment to read G60 8V how dumb am I!
